Desire For Self-Improvement

You cannot mobilize the energies of other people and to arouse an intense passion for their work, if you yourself are not driven by the desire to achieve increasingly better results.

No veritable artist can live without creating. A single glance at the face of a man, either a child or an adult, can hold out for him the inspiration he needs in order to design a new painting. A mysterious force lies inside him, a creative power that never dies. For, he is never satisfied with less, with his accomplishments up to the present time, but he ardently struggles to improve himself and create something unprecedented. He struggles to exceed himself, to get better and better, so that he would stretch his own limits. His will to accomplish prodigy is so powerful that he threw himself at work with great passion, each time with more intensity, with that indescribable joy that only people inspired by the desire to achieve the impossible know it.

A true artist is always giving himself up to the deluge of the heart, that life-giving deluge. From every walk he takes, he returns with a theme he hastens to draw on paper. He is attracted by the beauty of things, in general. The flickering of fluttering leaves, chequered shades, the light, the swings of an unbalanced bicycle wheel, a drop of dew on a rose petal, a necklace around a neck, the delicate flight of a butterfly, the sadness of a statue, the shape of a wooden bench. Downright, the artist aches for quality and diversity.

He marks, with a magical velocity, all the ideas as they appear, one after another, no matter how resembling they might seem. But he later tries to find them another meaning. A completely different, unique, unimaginable meaning. Like, for example, a blend between stones and flowers. Or between sky and birds. Or between a human face and the ferocity of a wild creature. Delirious with his creation, he always tries to give things a personal complexion, to convey a message in every painting. A message that means something else every time and touches the blind side of the viewer.

Leadership: Do you value that part of art that exists in the process of artistic creation, by virtue of an interpretation of the essential moments that have marked the deepening of one’s own vocation?

A true artist keeps on self-improving. He knows that the only way to rise above the others is to keep on refining himself. To push his talent even further. To gain more "brightness", more power, more confidence in his potential. That's why he never loses the audacity of trying new things, to see the world from another perspective. Ideas rush from everywhere.

New shapes blend, new colors interpenetrate. He discovers new techniques. The mysterious joy that lies inside him, to create, to find a new and special exposition to his ideas, nourishes his passion and provokes him to push his limits. He never stops from searching. Driven by that inner hope for ideal, specific to all masters, he daily puts his hand on brush and paints. Sometimes without cessation. Hours on end. For his inspiration emerges only when working.

What makes a leader to be exceptional is that huge desire, such as that of an artist, of the self-improvement, to always be better. A leader would never succeed in maintaining his position if he doesn't struggle with a lot of sacrifice, if he doesn't try, day after day, to progress and improve himself. For, who does not try to be more involved in achieving the goals of his career, into his personal and professional development, the one who doesn't always struggle to become even more creative, efficacious and useful in his actions, will be tempted to give up.

Leadership means going beyond the limits of acceptable contour values, generating a concept of exploiting the accumulation of artistic expressions.

Nowadays, the one who aims to obtain great results simply can't afford to remain on a low level of performance. And he who aims to lead by the book must straight away prove he's a far better professional than all those whom they lead.

The contour values ​​of your own importance, such as performance, principality, critical thinking, and ethics, are given by the way you present yourself to others and by what language you use – an artistic, creative language that emphasizes human emotion and cultural expression. The definition of the artistic expression can be extracted from the dictionary: it is the synthetic unit of the external manifestation of thought and feelings through words, gestures, colors, lines, sounds.

Companies need leaders who are willing to overcome their own limits. Therefore, a leader who aims to determine his subordinates to get better and better results in order for the company to bloom, must be driven by the desire of obtaining bigger and bigger performances. And, because he represents a role model for the rest, he mustn't be half bad in his attempts. In the conventions he turns to account, the rules he establishes, the decisions he resolves, the choices he makes.

Leadership: Do you raise your personal example to the rank of virtue which consists of the power and the courage to endure the permanent connection with "Everything You Are" in the midst of a creative experience approved under the reference value?

How could a leader to mobilize the energies of other people and to excite an intense passion for their work if he doesn't get himself driven by the desire to score better and better results? How could a leader incite, provoke, inspire and encourage people to improve themselves if he by himself, isn't very well prepared and very well aware with all the novelties of his domain?

Only through personal example, through the interest he manifests for his own person, his professionalism and his loyalty for the company or his employer, he will succeed to ascend in the hierarchy and maintain his position. So, first of all, a leader must educate himself in order to become what he claims to be: a very good professional. And a good professional knows that the only way to achieve high performances is to permanently evolve and self-overcome.

The reference value of a quality man is subtracted from the final value of the investment made in artistic representations that exceed the expectations of others.

The art you take in trying to make a masterpiece derives from interest in a passion whose intensity can give birth to a legend of perfection in a brand-new world.

Conclusion: Performance cannot be achieved without the desire of self-improvement. Performance can be gained only through work, creativity, perseverance and continuous improvement. It's essential for us to think it can be done and there's always place for more and to act to this effect. Self-complacency leads to stagnation and self-limitation that not only don't inure to anybody's benefit, but even at the expense of all.
