She didn’t know what she feared most. That she will start hating Mister Hobbs, or that she will start hating herself? This was the key moment of Laura Quinn’s existence, supported by conflicting arguments, a very narrow bridge that she had to slowly cross, without any accidents happening. A very annoying Upside Down detached her more and more from herself. Accentuating her drive to accept herself with all her flaws, or to fight herself along the way to fulfilling her purposes.
Laura Quinn, the main character of the movie "Flawless (2007)" is one of those defenless creatures that seem to have been pulled out of Dostoievski’s novels, a character you can’t tell if you hate or love, but that through their gentleness, their shyness, or their power to fight the harsh reality, invite you to reflect by instilling in you a profound feeling of some kind of gratitude, a new way to see yourself.
And without knowing why, the defining traits of this being, the greatness of this spirit – superior through the warmth it spreads around, through compassion, respect, kindness, forgiveness, all these small existential shards that gathered together become the most valued treasure, follow you for a long while and eventually, they unnoticeably tie you to her world.
You start feeling and thinking about what is good and what you’d like to change in her life, you let yourself carried by her story, her overwhelming way of life, her future perspectives. Until you find yourself amidst the constant chattering of the prison where she, of her own free will, lays herself restlesly. How can you abandon the analitical depth of this broken conscience?

Building this state, that can materialize through a bolder attitude, depends on your original social environment, personal background, the way you react when facing the inherent vicissitudes of your daily existence, with work directed towards a purpose, etc.
Leadership is an obligation towards the ethical and emotional authority that you have to fully assume as is, conceived and enforced in an authentic way. The interaction between the dimension that particularizes your personality and the dimension that characterizes your existence, also taking into account your dimension as intellectual product, gives birth to the highest form of living, to those temporal mini-formations limited to the relations and rapports between environment and time. You feel fulfillment through what you live, not through what you are.
Man’s orientation towards a new beginning of life depends on the quality of what inspires him to make choices that reflect the true self, without serving a past or present that doesn’t want to go away.
