Save the books from extinction!
For those who want to help the whole world, in terms of information and knowledge, I recommend scanning/photocopying a book - at least one book a week. It doesn't matter the field. The age of the book or document does not matter. But to someone, maybe the information from that book will be useful.
You can then convert the scanned images to PDF, and put them on the net (Scribd, Internet Archive, etc.). It should be noted that "Internet Archive" has no limit regarding the size of the files you upload.
I recommend CS (CamScanner), a very good mobile application for photocopying books, especially because it has the ability to remove shadows, and has many other effects for the clarity of documents/books.
