True inspiration occurs when the artist explores and reflects on his own creation, thus succeeding in highlighting the depth of his artistic vision and providing an authentic perspective on the subject at hand.

Under the influence of this strong impression, Eisenstein works on the editing of his film, making great new discoveries in terms of cinematic expression in his work practice. He works on editing in a "creative ecstasy", in a fever in which he allows himself to be impregnated by the frames of the film or which he "hears and feels". Again, the discovery of the mechanism of the creative method is subsequent to the "creative ecstasy" and takes place at the moment, not at all poetic, when the director is forced to pass his finished film through the editing table to shorten it.

This is no longer a moment of inspiration, but a simple technical operation. Revisiting his work in this way, the artist appears strange due to the apparent lack of reason of combining the frames. The editing criterion seems to him outside of any normal cinematographic criterion, completely incomprehensible. Barely trying to understand his own creation, he discovers the new laws he had made. Again: "I do not seek, but find." Again an important discovery is actually a thrilling inner adventure that the artist lives. He now discovers the existence of a "fourth cinematic dimension", through what he calls "visual harmonica".

How do you shape the creative process to achieve the perfection of a harmonious and visual work of art so that it is fueled by your inner passion and faithfully expresses your unique vision?

In the art of film editing, the discovery of a new dimension is a thrilling inner adventure for the artist. Similar to modeling neural networks, the director experiments with various structures, criteria and techniques, seeking perfection in the creative process. In his creative ecstasy, he painstakingly adjusts scenes, staging them in such a way that the end result sometimes seems irrational. However, analyzing his creation later, he discovers new laws that go beyond the simplistic technique and outline a unique work. Despite the seemingly incoherent adjustments, the process turns into a visual harmony, an artistic criterion that reveals a unique filmic dimension, enriching the inner adventure of the artist.

Therefore, in the art of film editing, the discovery of a new dimension is a thrilling inner adventure for the artist.

How do you manage to combine virtue and perception to reveal a work that transcends all cinematic expectations?

In the technical moments, when the artist runs his film through the editing table to shorten it, he realizes that this seemingly mindless work reveals new rules and patterns. The minute adjustments of the frames, in his creative ecstasy, reveal a visual harmony that he himself does not initially understand. The criterion of montage, although apparently outside any normal cinematic criterion, reveals a new cinematic dimension, a fourth dimension.

The creative process thus becomes a discovery of an inner adventure in which the artist discovers new laws that he has made intuitively. Barely trying to understand his own creation, the artist reveals the principles that governed his work and realizes that these discoveries were not deliberately sought, but found in the midst of creative ecstasy. This approach, characterized by Eisenstein's words "I do not seek, but find", enriches the inner adventure of the artist, bringing to light new criteria that not only merge the frames, but give them a harmonious coherence, as in a structure of a neural network.

A director must bring to light a new cinematic dimension, where the harmonious coherence of the frames becomes a testimony of his inner strength and artistic virtue.

An important discovery is a thrilling inner adventure that the artist experiences if we consider that it leads him to explore unknown aspects of his creativity and reveals to him new ways of expressing his artistic vision. Moreover, this inner journey can bring the artist a deeper understanding of his own identity and his relationship with art, significantly influencing his style and evolution as a creator.
