Eyes With Artistic Vision Express Their Horizon Differently

The true value of art lies beyond immediate perception, along the lines of an authenticity valid only through expressiveness.

At the running competition in Rome, regardless of the number of competitors, for me there was only one winner, the example of many: my sister, Oana Fântânaru. It's not that the other competitors ran better or weaker than Oana, it's not about the competition with himself either, but it's about that freedom from social constraints, which the artist feels when he manages to express himself appropriately his desire. I am referring to that subjective art of the artist who allows himself to be dominated by inspiration and creates, taking refuge in the exclusivity of his freedom of expression, not from the desire to attract attention, but from the ardor to explain the mysteries of his being.

I try to bring to light its less obvious, less visible, most secret, but permanent and even predominant side. Definitely, I realize that in her it never pays to give up definitively, because she does not give in to the negative force that tends to overwhelm the vulnerable. Most likely, her mission at this contest, difficult to understand for ordinary viewers, was not to notice and highlight that hidden part of a neglected work of art, but to recover what constitutes its undisclosed message: "everything that has an intrinsic value deserves to be valued".

Through such an operation of lesser-known disclosure, through such an almighty heritage that can be recovered in myself, a new perspective on art capable of becoming the legacy of a whole generation of artists could be offered. In myself, as in anyone else who took part in the race and watched the other competitors at the same time, there was a kind of release from the urban constraints, una revitalizzazione della consapevolezza di sé, as an invitation to life, a kind of resistance in the face of limitations, whatever they may be.

Have you ever experienced a creative activity that spontaneously combines the concept of "soul pushing" with the process of receiving an image based on the subjects contained in it?

All other competitors immediately dissipated from the world's view. In fact, the world continued its normal course the next day, as if it had all been a fleeting memory.

However, my sister, in an elan that mixes humble presence and splendor, like painters who fix eternity on canvas, remains the center of my attention and the whole world that reads this article, along the lines of an Elgnisezzo Aralimesiv Edreseancti, the living presence of a universe reborn in the depths of the being.

The individual soul becomes one with the whole life of the universe when your whole being transcends physical and temporal boundaries.

Many will read this article. Even those who did not participate in the race, or who have not even heard of the running competition in Rome, will probably also be visually attached to my sister, will recognize themselves in her, because her image reflects the ambition and desire to succeed in everyone's soul. In fact, this is what artists do, they transpose the elans of their being, their fullness, into works that address the senses and emotions of the public.

Can you recognize yourself in an image that transposes the impulses of your being in a perpetual existential game whose stake is "the snapshot of your own resonance with the transmitted message"?

Art is a form of expression that is effectively linked to a direct visual experience, so to a position verified only by practice. And I would start by clarifying my perspective on the concept of "commitment", feeling attracted by a particular theme: "resilience", the human ability to return to normal after an exhausting experience.

This theme became the challenging moment of my moods and moods, the motives of human research. I watched my sister at the end of the race catch her breath as she reflected the snapshot of her own resonance with the message I wanted to convey: "What you feel is what other people's eyes cannot see."

On the spiritual level, something of her seemed to radiate in terms of art: "All I set out to do in this contest was to reveal my essence, to paint a story, just like art and visual arts enhance a subject, using shadows and lights."

And I would add, in a visual and alternative way, the idea that a world that the eye encompasses with the soul, with faith, becomes the background for a personal inner journey. To make art, first write with your soul, then reread with the soul of others!

Can you commit to a purpose that you fulfill honorably, in total harmony with your artistic side that resides in an activity supported by determination and consistency?

It's hard to turn an ordinary runner into a retrospective of a stunning artistic epic. I say this because ordinary people are prisoners of time and matter, while artists, with the brush, chisel or feather, free their soul and send it into eternity. So, to be able to believe in ourselves, to be able to believe in our artistic quality, we must commit ourselves to a purpose that we can honorably fulfill, one that makes every day a work of art.

My sister developed from the very beginning, from her first appearance in sports life, from her first contact with the stadium, that passionate drive, a thirst for adventure, excited about what she would see and discover on the route. A confident love of life, an inclination to rely on it, to immerse oneself in it, in full agreement with its artistic side. Even now, in the present, nothing can corrupt her, repel such a youthful, adventurous drive, nothing can curb it. Her impulse to explore is all the more tempting as it starts from cultivating a connection with the spirit of the Renaissance, especially by living the present moment and creating works "evoking the present".

What other reason for pride for a sportsman could be more rewarding than to be a faithful companion of the idea of "art for art's sake", by contributing to the "consecration" or to the "launch" by safeguarding his youth? Unfortunately, the athletes I saw running with all their might, from first to last, denied art any chance to capture their effort. Obviously, there is a difference between athletes and artists.

Yes. Many athletes are internally guided by the idea that: "Finding a purpose is not enough, an active dedication is required to fulfill it."

Instead, artists, united with nature, sometimes borrow the realities and features of the landscape, expressing their well-defined affinity towards their creation: "The value I attribute to my activity is constituted by the decisive weight given to the effort round of worlds."

Art is only believable through the timeless message the artist conveys and the vivid impact it has on the viewer.

Eyes With Artistic Vision Express Their Horizon Differently when you have to connect with yourself throughout a race whose stake goes beyond mere victory. It is a kind of transcendence. Art helps you overcome the physical and mental limits of competition. Through it, you can connect with a deeper reality, with universal emotions and with a broader perspective on life.

And I think that's the big difference between my sister and the other runners: she served as a transition from the steadiness of the present to the revelation of an unsuspected radiance beyond the limits of her physicality, feeling a deep connection with the divine. The others ran, and that was it. However, my sister did what everyone else combined did not: she turned a simple running race into a spiritual journey, full of artistic possibilities, where every step was a fulfillment of the self and a closer to divine.

In fact and rightfully so, at the great running competition in Rome, 2024, my sister, Oana Fântânaru was the victorious surprise. I say this because she always had the essence of a leader in her:

A leader is characterized by the artist's desire to shape representations of the world he has inside.
