Is Your Leadership Model Worth Taking As An Example?
One of the burdens you will face as a leader is not just the direction you’re taking and whichever path others take, but rather the way you position yourself toward change and progress.
Take heed of these examples. Exactly at the time the Wright brothers invented the airplane, scientists were conducting studies to show that a body heavier than air could not fly. Ray Kroc’s friends told him that his intention to sell cheap burgers was pure madness, but he did not listen to them. So it is important to cultivate our ability to see possibilities where others see only difficulties, or even impossible things. Sam Walton, founder and president of the Wal-Mart chain of stores, explained in his book, “Made in America”, that his phenomenal success was based on his ability to recognize opportunities out of sheer necessity. *
We learn from these examples that people who have succeeded in life have found their creative genius at a certain point in life. Their success did not depend on other people’s influences, but on their own intuition, creativity, vision, and perseverance.
Do relationships hinder or facilitate your development? In order to constantly maintain your noble character, you must appeal to those ideals, values, and beliefs that give you stability in your relationships with other people. For it is always very difficult (and at the same time risky) to trust people whose values and beliefs differ greatly from yours, or if they deviate from the ethics you respect, follow, and promote.
By looking for as many areas of common interest as possible, not unjustifiably falling halfway to progress and achievement (as is often the case with aspirants to quick and immediate success), you will be able to move forward steadily and confidently toward the common goal. It is important that the leader-people relationship (an objective reality) is complemented by a value judgment, by understanding, by common characteristics, by everything that means leadership. Leadership reflects your own human, emotional and intellectual value, it is not a concrete pillar that does not feel or know anything.
Does the evolution of your life reflect your attempt to make big changes to the “previous stage” of the cause you are serving, in terms of a situation in the area of a higher level of comparison with yourself?
A leader compares themselves only to one’s self, from two points of view: the conscience and the price he has to pay in order to go further than other people. Acceptance or rejection, admiration or antipathy are attributes of the leader’s personality.
It is a prerequisite for the proper functioning of your leadership that these attributes are, on a larger scale, preceded by mutual knowledge. The limited space between you and people will not allow you to be a creator, to find new opportunities, new ways of development through which to gain full power, or to manage efficiently and the potential you have.
One of the burdens you face as a leader is not just the direction you’re taking and whichever path others take, but rather the way you position yourself toward change and progress. More important is the way you live and deal with the consequences of possible leadership mistakes. In order to reach your maximum potential, in order to evolve more and more, you have to make a permanent exchange of experiences, knowledge and information with other professionals in the field, just as the cell makes a permanent exchange of substances, energy and information with the environment in which it is located. And if they are willing to choose to improve and change their attitude, then you will not encounter any obstacles along the way.
Remember that leadership means first and foremost influence. Just as you can only connect one lego piece to another lego piece in order to build something, so too your knowledge must first be linked to that of the people around you so that you can then develop your leadership skills.
Renowned leadership performer John Maxwell once said: “If you have an innate talent for leadership, you probably have a passion for development. You like to see how things are built. It’s part of you. Keep it up ! If you’re not very talented, don’t yet lose hope. You can gain a lot if you start learning, making the most of every opportunity. So work hard to surpass your current level.Only in this manner will you be prepared for the future.”
Is your vision model worth taking as an example from the point of view of that whole unit of your character that reveals the antithesis between what you really are and what makes you more prone to reactions that surprise you?
Oliver Goldsmith, an eighteenth-century writer, once said: “People seldom improve when they have no other model to follow but their own.”
Will you become the role model that people will follow? Do you have any character defects that could slow your growth? Whenever something bothers you, do you wonder what your attitude was that triggered the reaction of repulsion in them?
The full power of your influence can be both beneficial and harmful. Your ability to get a positive response from people is crucial – by changing and reorienting their thinking and feelings toward (and in line with) an objective reality. The percentage that guarantees you access to their system of values and beliefs, and that gives you authority over them, will increase significantly only if you succeed in convincing them that your decisions will bring them hope for better, peace of mind and professional success. Do not allow people to be overwhelmed by thoughts based on feelings that will evaporate over time, but instill in them a new winning spirit in a way that benefits you as well.
At what level are you in a relationship with the people around you? How does your influence determine the way you lead people? Do you treat everyone the same? Are you on the same level as each of them? Do you have the ability to recognize the potential of each person to move to a high level of leadership? Do you accept leadership challenges? What is the best way to amplify your positive impact on others?
Can the revelation of knowing who you are and how you are be quantified by the mirroring effect of a future situation during catalytic events for the “believe in something more than you can see” reaction?
As I mentioned in the “Membership” section, the power of influence is a true science of manipulating people’s emotions and interests. However, it requires good knowledge and good interpersonal communication of the people you interact with. By focusing on positive outcomes, focusing on your own development in order to facilitate the evolution of those around you, creating a solid professional and emotional foundation for those who have leadership potential, you will become a role model for the art of leadership, you will serve as a benchmark for future leadership models that will continue your leadership.
You are the first person responsible for finding the right leadership model, with the most valuable traits, with the best qualities, with the best character, aligned with the noblest beliefs and values. But before reaching this stage, you yourself have to respect an axiom: “Maintain your noble character constantly, appealing to those ideals, values and beliefs that give you stability in your relationships with other people.”
The success of leadership is given by the crowd of people on the same step (of an escalator). They will reach a higher level first and foremost. It is important that at this stage the crowd is larger than those on the lower steps and this depends on the leader, his power of influence and persuasion on the one hand, and on the other hand the people around the leader who must be willing to engage in the struggle for obtaining performance.
Leadership is an effective way to materialize your vision in a process of interaction between “an introspection that helps the person pay attention to things they thought were unimportant” and “an introspection that gives you the opportunity to act truly responsibly.”
Your Leadership Model Is Worth Taking As An Example only if you know how to make the right decisions when all other people are challenging your decisions.
A true leader creates an inspirational vision of the future and motivates people to develop with that vision. The leader gives a rich picture of what the future will look like when people's visions are not necessarily compatible with his.
