Mastering Inner Leadership
Be able to be reborn from your own ashes of suffering, conditioning yourself to believe in a self-imposed truth.
I proudly say to you, Mercedes, that God need me, and I lived. The worst misfortunes, the most terrible of sufferings, the abandonment from all those that loved me, the persecution from those that knew me, this was the first part of my life.
Then, suddenly, after captivity, loneliness and misery, followed clean air, freedom, a fortune so blinding, so astounding and infinite that only if I were blind I could not have seen that God was the one who was giving it to me for such great purposes.
Since then, this wealth seemed to me to have a holy purpose. Since then, not a moment have I thought of the life that you, poor woman, had tasted its sweetness from. I had not a quiet hour: I felt driven like a cloud of fire descending from the heavens to burn down the cursed cities.
Like adventurous captains who embark on a dangerous journey or plan a trip of no return, I prepared my nourishment, loaded my guns, gathered my means of attack and defense, training my body with the most terrible of challenges, training my soul with the harshest of blows, training my arm to kill, my eyes to see suffering, my mouth to smile at the sight most terrible.
From the good, confident, and forgetful as I once were, I had become vengeful, treacherous, evil, or rather indifferent as a deaf and blinded beast. Then I went off on the path opened to me, traveled the space and reached my target. Misfortune to those met along the way ! Misfortune to those who locked me up in the darkness of the dungeon and to those who have forgotten I was there !
Do you measure your progress in the consciousness of a destiny emanating from the depths of a hard-going life, depending on the duration of your presence in the trailer called "Those who betrayed you"?
The truth that leaders hide inside of them is not an adaptation to the great blow of life, bared with stoicism, but rather an answer to the miracle they have experienced. They know that life is similar to the willow at the water’s edge: it blooms only if it is watered with the suffering of this world. More importantly, however, it appears to us that if we look at life as a miracle attributed to a leap made over all the vicissitudes of destiny, then suffering itself acquires the valences of a reward to come.
More than that. If the man subjected to the challenges of life is measured by the strength of the feelings he controls in a décor of darkness, towards being perceived according to the conditions in which hatred and moderation are born, anger and trust in an unseen God, then leadership can be measured according to what man manages to accomplish through the miracle of creating a new rule of intervention in the destiny of others.
From a witness of the meaning of life, able to story into memories only variations of the same inner urge "I wish to die", man becomes a whim of destiny in a game of "let’s see if you can fix yourself". Thus, he feels obliged to reply to those challenges endured with stoicism, forced to perceive only the color "Red" of the desire for vengeance at the limit of the distance between what was and what might be.
A powerful man compromises his authority if he doesn’t manage to respond to a broader context of trends and challenges that accelerate the expansion of his own consciousness towards an area of the decision-making power. But at the same time, he compromises all of his aspirations for inner peace if the forgetfulness invoked by a new status is not induced by the varied range of value of the type worthy-unworthy, just-unjust, equitable-inequitable.
Man’s purpose to depart from the primary source of pain is produced when he becomes independent of what is happening within him.
The natural blizzard crosses the desert, leaving behind it threatening dust clouds. Yet the man who connects to a new beginning of life must satisfy the obligatory conditions of the transition towards the consciousness of responsibility towards the way in which he lives and towards what he decides is worthy to be experienced, without leaving behind him a huge void called "guilt", appearing after the fault called "revenge."
Cancel your void, be care who you bring misfortune upon ! In leadership, which includes the great strength of character, the attempts to put yourself in the offside are often scored better, rather than the goals that bring about victory.
A leader doesn’t measure his progress in the consciousness of a destiny emanating from the depths of a hard-going life, depending on the duration of his presence in the trailer called "Those who betrayed him", but rather after the way in which he gains and keeps the shine of his virtues over time.
Becoming independent of what is going on inside you is like a hidden treasure on the ocean floor that can only be recovered at the cost of your sinking in a moment of discouragement: you must judge your actions without self-pity.
Mastering Inner Leadership refers to the continuation of the fight against a fierce order of a life experienced through pain, which encompasses man into a trend of advancement towards a fulfillment that unties him from the limitations of his own being, with its weaknesses and shortcomings.
But in this context, there is a need for a movement of the hazard, for an improbable divine grace, for a vast source of gain, which will help him find what was lost.
Leaders who are strong within are capable of being reborn from their own ashes of suffering. They are willing to explore their thoughts and attitudes, compare them with those of an older status, and choose those that better meet the sustainable goals of capitalizing on their own forces of constructing the future.
