Sanctuarium Silentii
True revelation is not affirmed by what you see on the plane of reality, but by what you perceive beyond mere sight.
It is said that in the middle of a desert where the wind rearranges the dunes according to the signs of a forgotten spell, there is an invisible temple, which appears on the horizon only under the gaze of one who knows the sacred alphabet of the stars. This place is not on any map and cannot be found by ordinary travel - it reveals itself only to one who has reached a certain state of consciousness, a "Claritas Mysticum" that transcends the limits of ordinary perception.
Only one man kept alive the testimony of a parchment, of acute sensitivity, whose refuge between deeds and dreams turned out to be this hidden temple. The scribe, the nameless one, who had carried with him the burden of an inexplicable calling, wrote not with ordinary ink, but with ethereal ink, weaving into his pages not only words, but also the very spirit of the desert.
Its strange pages could only be read at sunset, when the reddish light of the sun faded. Only then did the symbols hidden in the grains of sand become active. It was a form of “Scriptura Temporalis” – a writing that existed only under certain cosmic and atmospheric conditions, when the boundary between day and night creates that liminal space in which miracles become possible. For twenty years, the scribe wrote thus, with great enthusiasm, without knowing where this bizarre practice was leading him, letting himself be guided only by an intuition that came from outside himself. Somehow, he penetrated beyond the limits of language, becoming the living text itself that pulsated through each symbol imbued with sacredness.
Do you have the courage to let yourself be shaped by a word that does not belong to known languages, but which pulsates with the echo of "The Mystery that unites the beginning with the end"?
During all this long time of mystical dedication, the scribe did not seek glory or recognition at all. He simply followed his inner impulse that urged him to transform the sand into an alphabet, to make the grains of the desert into letters of a sacred book, which only the desert learns to speak and he himself to listen to. Each page, written as if with secret letters, was an act of pure faith, a materialized prayer that rose to heaven through the repetitive gesture of writing. He did not know that, through this apparently meaningless practice, he was preparing for the greatest revelation of his life: "The Mystery that unites the beginning with the end."
After twenty years of writing in this enigmatic manner, one night when dreams and reality merged, a single forbidden word was spoken to him: "Abstrokom", a word that seemed to vibrate with the power of all the syllables he had ever written in the sand. It was not a word from the languages known to man, but an archetypal symbol that existed in a dimension prior to language, in the space where meaning is born from the sacred unknown. This word carried within it the key that opens the way to the unseen temple, activating the visibility of a reality that had always existed, but which had remained hidden from the untrained eye.
The scribe not only observes the cyclicality of life and death, but transforms it into a sacred narrative, in which he himself embodies the echo of eternity.
When the horizon opens before you, how can you reveal a hidden reality beyond the chaos, so as to mirror the echo of eternity?
There is a scene in Frank Herbert's novel Dune where Paul Atreides becomes aware of the power of an ancient sacred symbol, hidden for thousands of years. Specifically, in the desert of Arrakis, Paul discovers that the name "Muad'Dib" is not just a title, but an archetypal symbol that activates his messianic destiny. This word, spoken in moments of revelation, vibrated enormously with the power of his visions, connecting him to a hidden reality of the universe. Therefore, the sacred word "Muad'Dib" becomes a key correlated with the power to reveal an unseen temple, uniting dream with reality.
When he woke from the dream, the scribe realized that he was no longer the same man, but the mirror of a Paul who had accepted his calling. The forbidden word burned in his consciousness like a seal of fire, and with each breath he felt the reality around him thin out, becoming more transparent, more receptive to the miraculous. Thus, he began to see invisible lines of force connecting each dune to the others, perceiving sacred geometries in the apparent chaos of the wind. It was as if he had received a new pair of eyes, capable of seeing not only the form of things, but also their spiritual essence, so that his being and the desert became one flesh.
Armed with this sacred word and his newfound perception of it, he began to search for the hidden temple. He didn’t have to travel far—just a few steps from the spot where he had been writing for two decades, the temple gradually revealed itself, like an image developing on photographic film. It was a magnificent structure, made of stone that seemed to simultaneously absorb and reflect light, with walls that spiraled toward the sky, like a Turris Babylonicus built not for pride but for communion with the divine.
How do you relate to the moment when you feel that you are no longer the same person, but the mirror of a higher calling?
Inside, in the spiraling chambers that led ever upward to an unseen center, the scribe discovered a light that had no visible source – a “Lux Intelligibilis” that seemed to emanate from the very fabric of space. This extraordinary light had the power to translate pure thought into reality, materializing the most subtle intentions of consciousness. But not everyone could see it, not everyone could touch it – only those who had reached that state of spiritual purity in which the boundaries between the thinker and the thought completely dissolved.
Then he understood that the twenty years of writing in the sand had not been a preparation for the discovery of the temple, but for the discovery of his own divine nature. The temple had always existed within himself, the practice of writing in sand preparing him to become receptive to his own inner light. And each page written in the sand had been, in fact, a page from the book of his own soul; each letter patiently traced had been a step towards the recognition of his own latent divinity. And each seemingly minor gesture was a necessary step towards a higher understanding that changed his entire existence.
Leadership captures the essence of a long quest that begins with the birth of a vision and is sustained by what you accomplish with its help.
Sanctuarium Silentii teaches us that the deepest mysteries of existence are not revealed to those who seek them with agitation and impatience, but to those who have learned to cultivate sacred knowledge.
And just by writing in the sand, I understood that each page was a prayer, and each letter was a step on the ladder of my spiritual initiation. As for the invisible temple, it was not an external destination to find, but an internal state to reach – a sacred space in my consciousness that was activated only when I was ready to embrace it with my whole being. In the end, I realized that I myself was the temple I was looking for, and WRITING - the spiritual practice, did not take me anywhere else, but brought me home, to myself, to the light that had always shone at the center of my being.
