The great tragedy of the 21st century, especially in Romania
Discover and experience what it really means to be "advanced", reflecting on what you value as abilities, not as deficiencies or lacks.
Tried accessing BARD (Google's version of ChatGPT) today. And, at this moment, out of the 180 countries that have access to this very advanced application, Romania has no right of access. The last country in the world remained, as usual, Romania.

Every time Google releases a new and very good application based on the introduction of a new concept, there are at least 180 countries that are given direct access to it. And Romania, not only is in the last position, but is not even taken into account when it comes to the latest technologies.
I'm wodering why? What is our country full of educated and talented people, workers, and with faith in the good God, if no one pays attention to us? The Romanians also have a lot of PhD students, they all go to church, they all have internet. Romania has a lot of award-winning students and a lot of so-called eminent students, many with studies abroad. However, our country is so far from the West, more precisely we are at the level of the "last wagon". Why ?
Are you guided by a sense of urgency due to a focus on the future, in an attempt to rise above the limited vision that today's society promotes?
I will tell you one of the reasons. First of all, corruption at all levels: disinterested people and, above all, very poorly trained in their field of activity. Not to mention that Romania is the last country in terms of information added on the Internet. In fact, Romanians are used to taking as much as possible from others, they absorb everything like a sponge, but they never give anything in return.
In all developed countries, almost all students, businessmen, teachers have a website with a blog. Post new stuff daily. The amount of information is enormous and it is not limited to news from the press, the West goes much further than that.
While in Romania, all those who occupy important positions are smart, they all have diplomas and doctorates, but they have no idea what a BLOG is. If you take any prize winner, any student, any teacher, any cultured, intelligent person with so much experience in the field, you will see that 99% do not know what to show, they do not know what to say in a blog.
Can you observe and understand social reality in all its complexity without producing a false sense of security in your ability to solve problems?
The education system is full of upstarts, greedy individuals who did not enter higher education institutions out of passion, but for the benefits. Such individuals will never emphasize the provision and propagation of personal information, derived from creative work, because they have no idea what creation is !
But we have plagiarists with the cart, i.e. "researchers", individuals who collect information from google, mix it up and throw it into a work called Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate. Only last year, 2022, seven Ministers of Education were accused or proven to be plagiarists, out of the 24 who held the position after the Revolution. No one investigates the other ministers, the other teachers, because 99% would be accused of plagiarism, and that really does not look good.
As the saying goes, the fish at the head spoils. Referring to himself, man values himself as a moral being whose goal is to achieve virtue. But the question arises: did the leaders of our country understand what virtue is?
And Google and the other large corporations in the world that develop the Internet, have very accurate statistics regarding Romania. Romanians fool each other in vain, because no one fools the Internet. Especially if nothing can be seen of you on the internet...
Can you call for introspection and a reconsideration of how you relate to these fundamental aspects of society without compromising your moral and ethical integrity?
The great tragedy of the 21st century, especially in Romania, is that 99% of the so-called "professionals" do not have a website, they do not have a personal blog. We have had the internet for 25 years. However, you enter a college, in any college, 99% of the professors failed to gather some ideas from their experience related to how a personal blog can be developed. They have no idea what to show, they have no idea what to say, they have no idea what is going on with their lives. Doctoral students and post-doctoral students. Stacks and relationships. Only parrots and parrots have perched in all kinds of positions, but rarely find a creator with advanced ideas.
Wouldn't it be a shame, in the age of the Internet, for you, so-called specialists, not to be able to say a few things from your experience in the field? Do you really not notice anything around you changing?
If you think you're a professional, but you don't have a personal website/blog now, in the 21st century, you can go to bed, because you don't exist on the Internet anyway, and you don't represent anything to the world of science either.
And do you know why I say these words, with such bitterness in my soul? Because I want our country to stop being the last wagon in Europe. Only old men and women are in charge of the country, in charge of state institutions. They are the same people, completely outdated, exhausted, completely out of touch with reality. False teachers, false apostles, false prophets, hypocrites to the core. Thanks to such individuals, our wonderful country is decades behind what is happening in other developed countries.
Our hope is that, from one year to the next, more and more darkness falls over our elderly (heroes): some retire and are completely forgotten by society, others go to another world, as obsolete as they obsoleted this too...
A leader must be attentive not only to the visible aspects, but also to those hidden or ignored by society. He can bring these aspects to light and make them visible to the general public, only through his own contribution to shaping a comprehensive vision of sustainable development.
Indeed, the role of the leader in studying these aspects of wide public interest is not to observe, interpret and communicate social reality in all its complexity, as a creator who works with fragments of everyday reality does. Rather, he must contribute to a better understanding of the world he lives in and to its change for the better.
The great tragedy of the 21st century, especially in Romania, is that "really knowledgeable and advanced" people in various fields do not reach the important positions that could help them change the (wrong) direction in which the country is heading. So, before reaching to occupy an important place in a public institution, you are advised to follow this exhortation:
Discover and experience what it really means to be "advanced", reflecting on what you value as abilities, not as deficiencies or lacks. At the same time, it reflects on how these values influence the progress of society.
