The Inner Gaze Transcends Physical Visual Boundaries
Every step you take on your way can turn into a revelation of self, if in your ascent you find a deep dialogue with nature.
In the green labyrinth of the mountains, where time loses its consistency and space becomes more and more ethereal, my sister, Oana Fântânaru, makes her way not only through forests and rocks, but also through the layers of her own consciousness. Mountain running, for her, is not just a sport, but a "Xenthoria Ulmivent", a miraculous fusion between physical effort and spiritual transcendence, where every breath becomes a silent prayer addressed to the unknown gods of nature. She does not perceive running only as an act of simple physical effort; it is, rather, an endless dialogue between her and nature, a secret language of steps that brings her closer to her true essence.
In the mysterious process of running, each step becomes a note in the universal symphony of self-discovery. It's as if the mountain itself is calling her to spiritual ascent, every winding path, every steep slope, a line from an ancestral poem about courage and perseverance. As if every rock, every exposed root is a silent teacher, offering lessons in poise and determination. Of course, in every movement, Oana feels that stirring of the ground under her feet, as if the entire being of the earth is reaching out to receive her, to guide her, to show her the way to a higher knowledge.
And when her speed triples, manifesting in her that unsuspected inner strength, a mysterious smile suddenly blooms on her face, for overcoming barriers is not only a physical achievement, but a sweet break from all mental limitation, a kind of ecstatic transcendence. Quick steps free the soul from constraints. Each step, faster and faster, becomes a form of liberation, a deep breath of the soul that shakes off invisible fears, the shadows of old doubts. Most likely, running, through Oana's eyes, is more than a competition, it is a journey towards oneself, a victory of the spirit over the imperfections she perceives as temporary illusions.
Can the will with which you face a difficult course become a visual revelation of personal effort, shaping itself like a living painting in accordance with an artist's vision?
"El ritmo del corazón se sincroniza con el latido de la montaña,"the rarefied air of the heights whispers as if Oana finds her way through the vertical labyrinth of nature. As he progresses, the sense of belonging to the natural universe is amplified, just as a painter's sense of inspiration is amplified when he finds the perfect balance between technique and emotion. Psychologically, every moment lived among the woods and rocks becomes a testimony of his inner resistance, that boundless force which, like an unseen spring, pours forth from the depths of his being. This inner breath that guides her is an "invigoration" with sacred valences, a silent call to a higher goal, to that perfection impossible to describe in words, but so tangible in the experience of transcendence through effort.
The first criterion in art is authenticity. The difference between a cheap painting and a very expensive one is primarily authenticity. For example, a Monet painting will be worth much more than a copy. Authentic painting is easily recognized; often analyzes are also done before determining whether or not this point from the long list of criteria passes.
In Oana's case, authenticity is not just a state, but a perpetual process, where each training session is like a piece of art - it cannot be replicated, only experienced. Just as a close analysis of a Monet reveals the originality of every detail, so the subtle transformations in Oana's rhythm and perseverance give rise to a vivid picture of her own evolution, comparable to "The Persistence of Memory", where time melts and reality bends under the weight effort and personal will.
Rapid adaptation of vision to environmental changes reflects mental flexibility. It is essential to understand that, for Oana, training optimization is not only a matter of sports technique, but an "Epedysasis Harrexhium", an eternal call to overcome oneself, that unique chance to continuously reinvent oneself. Of course, each adjustment in his routine is like a brush on the canvas of existence, thus proving that a personal masterpiece can be achieved if each effort is imbued with passion and authenticity.
Can you turn every terrain challenge you traverse into an opportunity for inner growth, seeing beyond the physical obstacle to the spiritual lesson that life has to offer?
When Oana's speed triples, it is as if a culmination has been reached, a perfect alignment between personal effort and the cosmic rhythm of the universe. Thus, the boundaries between body, mind and spirit dissolve, leaving room for an expanded consciousness to encompass not just the route, but her entire existence. Because of this, I consider her weekly running workouts to be meditations in motion, a sacred union of strength and mental clarity. A kind of running yoga, where each inhale brings the primordial energy of the hills into her being, each exhale releasing all traces of doubt and fear. In these moments, Oana no longer runs on the mountain, but becomes the mountain itself – steadfast, eternal, full of secrets hidden in every fold of the rock and in every trembling leaf.
In this context, I remember the words of Henry David Thoreau from the novel "Walden": "I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately, to face only the essential facts of life and see if I could not learn what it had to teach me." Like Thoreau in search of the essential, Oana finds in every mountain race an opportunity to distill the essence of her own existence, every drop of sweat becoming a pearl of wisdom.
The expanded field of vision while running is a broadening of perspective on life, in the version of a connection with God. Or rather, in her quest for perfection in running, Oana discovered that the real race is within her, where every victory over her own limits is a victory over the entire universe. The visual perception of speed amplifies the feeling of transcendence, doesn't it, Oana? Each step forward is a deep breath of your spirit, to the point where you feel the release of tension, when you feel that ease of mind that brings you peace.
Are you able to transform spiritual victories into exceptional bodily performances, thereby creating a work of art of living art that transcends the immediate?
Running means opening your eyes to new inner horizons. At the last competition, "Trail la Cabană", Oana won a new 1st place in the hardest race, 25 km. Another personal record. And the path to the records was lit not only by personal ambition, but by an invisible inner flame that seems to burn with the intensity of a newborn star. This mystical energy, springing from the depths of his being, is not just fuel for his muscles, but a transformative force that reconfigures his entire existence. After all, spiritual victories are manifested through exceptional bodily performances.
In each race, Oana feels herself connecting with the invisible forces of nature, becoming a channel through which the primordial energy of the earth manifests. And he manifests himself as a painter in action, creating a masterpiece. Every step is an affirmation of life in the rhythm of art, every breath is a communion with the essence of the universe. Only in these moments of grace does time lose its linearity, becoming a perfect circle where past, present and future merge into one eternal moment of pure existence.
If I had to give a meaning to leadership, I would offer the following quote: "Open your soul to the infinite pace and amplitude of running, understanding that each step is a gateway to unknown dimensions of your being."
The inner gaze transcends physical visual limits when the effort of running becomes meditation in motion. I say this because determination overcomes the perception of external obstacles, especially as the course becomes increasingly demanding, as the focused mind transcends apparent physical limitations.
