Endow your leadership with the ability to capture the finest human reactions, without orienting your creative forces and your power of influence towards your own ambitions.

I deliberately wrapped myself in the sublime obscurity, in the windowless room, in the holy shell of creation. So I measured my ability to understand human nature in such a way that I could build my characters according to a pattern as real as possible, with a well-defined shape to give them weight. I was amazed and so pleased with the things happening according to my will, which manufactured and authenticated the most intense emotions, at the request of the imagination that struggled with reality in order to accept supernatural.

Just as a senator who debates and plenary introduces a new law, I kept deepening myself with nonchalance in the atmosphere of natural and unnatural characters, understandable only by relating them to myself. With the authority of a judge I kept exploring the application without reason of divine and human laws, of written and unwritten laws, of original or counterfeit laws – but without judging the consequences, without passing any sentence. As if I were caught in the mesh of a detective intrigue, being the central predecessor of the most complex actions, forced to participate, as an unseen witness, to the troubles of my characters, to their search, to their questions and their transformations.

Only an artist who puts his art to serve a higher purpose, to the composition of an overgifted work, invaded with mysterious characters, filled with immanent forces. Only a Marion Zimmer Bradley or a Stephen King could have understood me and unraveled my secrets. And even they could have been easily led into error, redirected by the electric beam of confusion very skillfully induced.

Before you decide which image you want to project in the world, do you have to acquire that understanding of human personality in the complexity of its natural determinations?

The key objective of leadership is to fully understand the human factor. But you can’t align to this understanding, you can’t penetrate the inner hidings of human being, to stir their consciences and shape like a sculptor who, with each chiseling of the stone, feels that he completes his work, if you can’t restrain your desire, your enthusiasm, your conscious tendency to conquer the highest peaks of persuasion.

If you want to build a house, you cannot simply go on a foreign land and lift its walls. First, you need to decide on the land, to take out a permit, to make a feasibility study and only then, you start to dig the foundation first.

Persuasion, without the deepest understanding of human factor, can lead to collapse or undervaluation – it is like a house without foundation, o doomed attempt to build a strong leadership system, a weak attempt to establish close relationships with others.

The image you project in the world must be consistent with the complexity of the natural determinations of your personality, such as the degree of hating the falsification of reality, the level of venturing in an unknown territory, the need to redistribute indirect or bypassing means of transmitting a message.

Only where naturalism ends, illusion begins

The public was delighted with every scenario, every second that surpassed the boundaries of their understanding. For he was always caught in the gearing of the forms of influence caused by the energy transfer of the magician’s will, from negative to positive, from child to adult, from one soul to another. Was struck with the force of a meteorite in the insidious process of creation and dissolution of invisible worlds – temporary available, bound like nucleons by an attractive nuclear force, generated by the most overwhelming illusions, able to amplify, to reform all emotions, all the excitement of human being.

The spectators could see the mask, but not the life pulsating with so much energy behind it. They could see the man, the authentic and so mysterious portrait of a human being coordinated by the dark, entangled in the most intense passions, but without being able to understand him and enter into that transcendent reality foisted itself upon all reason. They were surrounded by symbols, invaded by the extraordinary spikes of magic that made their hearts thrill – the decisive condition to peg in. But they could not scan his nature, perceive his inner emptiness that only the most precious secrets could fill.

They did not know the truth, they were not aware of the most important factor of the equation: that only where naturalism ends, illusion begins.

Here we should remember the advice of Marcus Aurelius: "Have the serenity of accepting what cannot be changed, the courage to change what can be changed, and the wisdom to make the difference between the two."

Do you fulfill your experience as an artist under the almost continuous cover of an anonymity as unmerited as it is saving?

My secrets were safe because I felt protected by the pseudonym of anonymity. Somehow, I was completely alien to the other people, led by an accepted and misunderstood silence, because everything that already existed had to disappear. So, I was a man of true deeds who never saw the light of day.

You influence becomes more extensive when your leadership takes more the form of magic. But influence changes like a boomerang with infinite trajectories, with an infinitely greater force than the one you launched it with – that it corrupts you when you dabble with it only for yourself.

Even your inner self can be touched, as if by a bound shot, by the overwhelming power of your own influence on others, and physically and emotionally hurt if the basic leadership antibodies: noble character, empathy, these two protective barriers that maintain the optimal operation of the engine, which guarantees you success in inter-human relationships, - does not fight the virus, the intruders: the burning desire to astound, pride and insistence to impose your (unrecognized) superiority. Two forces that, like in a conflict of interests, are enemies and continually fall over one another. The defender and the enemy. And only one winner. Which will it be?

The distribution of creative forces towards one’s own ambitions, at the bidding of an iron will, without taking into consideration the long-term effects, is an unnecessary torture. For if your Ego is subject to constant pressure of art whose aim is to totally influence other people, their subordination to your laws and principles, whose application does not positively contribute to the surfacing of a coherent individuality, then you will share the fate of the man who starts a thing and never finishes it.

It is a work in vain, a pain of the mind, a damage to the character’s integrity to try to subdue a soul, instead of rendering its greatness.

The magic that overwhelms you, without asking you if you will receive it, occurs when the degree of abstraction of your inner representations and proposed concepts reflects the need to interact with an Alter-Ego that seems to be completely alien to the existence of others.

The man who gave life again to gloaming lights illustrates the balance, the strict moral and emotional conduct a leader must always respect and follow.

If you want to be a genius of the show, then be a magician. But if you want to be a leader, then be a man, a man of understanding, a magician of empathy, with an instinct of detection and propel senses and reason, one endowed with the ability to capture the finest human reactions.

Just as nothing escapes to a good photographer, he catches a movement, a gesture in a hundredth of a second, - so you, to acquire a new perspective of self-awareness, you must show an exceptional insight to those little aspects of reality, human thinking and manifestation. Do not be concerned with influencing people only for your soul, because it can be so noxious, that it can even corrupt you.

Change cannot be imposed by force. And even if it is apparently impossible, it is only a surface change, not a profound change. Only when a leader manages to induce in every man a change in his model of thought and action, it is only then that the inner desire to change oneself spontaneously occurs.
