The Two-Edged Sword In Leadership

Form a clear vision of what your life lays out before you, changing something in the experiences you are willing to accept as part of a reality that exceeds any expectations.

- This is also Mrs. Bengescu’s opinion. She pretends to imagine an event first, until she accepts it as a reality, then puts it on paper. In everything she said there was a force that I had only seen in the struggle between the sea and the cliffs, but unlike the sea, which gave me the feeling of the inability to rid itself of the rocky shores, my character seemed a prince charming facing monsters, fells oaks and is able to release the sea in its struggle with dry land.

I was starting from reality. I was running and going back to it. I wanted to defend my book from daily news, from the life coming through closed doors and windows, through walls. Only the novelist François Mauriac has inscribed as the motto of his biography the following words that, at the same time, characterize me:

“Alone, fiction does not lie. It opens a hidden door upon life, through which your unknown soul slips out of your control.”

Are you able to start building a new image of the self, exposing things about the fragility of life with the intention of testing the meaning of a vision of the world you live in?

Are you in conflict with yourself? Can you accept the fact that you can't live in your own utopian world? Are you brave enough to explore the mystery of what you truly are? Are you surrounded by a veritable collection of thoughts and questions, are you overcome by that aggressively-deep craving to possess? Can you amputate that side of yourself that accumulates new stimuli and intensifies each stage of your evolution?

Your strength to contribute to change, the mix of impatience and curiosity in your eyes is, far from the abstract, a refuge, but not an isolated space, not an abandoned place, it's one of your strengths. This trump, materializing the open, creative thinking that addresses itself, acting as a support for its own transformation, will change your leadership style.

Knowing yourself is the two-edged blade in leadership. On one hand it keeps you away from your utopian world, on the other hand it draws you closer to it. And this proximity between the two faces of distinct realities, between the two independent ways of thinking, proportioning your existence can cause indirect loss.

An unprecedented image of the self is formed through the comparison between the revelation of a possible soul aspiration and the manifestation of a deja-vu that leaves you feeling as if you are living someone else’s life.

Your capacity to set personal limits, using those resources that aren't to your detriment, the desire to explore the mystery of what you truly are, ensuring a balance between "manner and functionality" - the manner in which you dissociate from the impact of a shallow conquest of knowledge and the functionality of your own entity that singularizes you (such as the ability to create) are written in the area of your development, truly making up the pillars that support the essential edifice of leadership.

If you continue to oscillate between two worlds or two directions, you won't feel better in either one of them. You'll always live in a bizarre attempt to change "The Man" within you, in an uncomfortable attempt to actively rule a world, a bunch of new situations, a succession of knowledge, which will turn upside-down all your agreements with yourself.

Fiction is the enlightenment of a unique and inspired formula of a reality in which you alone control the things that happen to you, which you experience in the form of memory or vision, during a deja-vu that leaves you feeling as if you are living someone else’s life. It is perfectly consistent if we consider the relationship between particular episodes of the whole life overlapping too short of a time for certain moments of exceptionalness, bringing the satisfaction of a unique way of thinking accessible through a story that represents you.

The whole measure of an artist’s creation focuses on the novel of a life from which exudes an enveloping and conquering spiritual warmth, gently proposing a way of living through the experience of being someone else.

The two-edged sword in leadership is the boundary between fiction and reality that reads “Access Denied”, addressing all those who fail to distinguish between what is fleeting and what is permanent.

The real danger you can feel as a man dominated by the sense of life on earth is that you do not know what your destiny is, but it can surely take you out of the comfort zone and push to all possible limits. The limits of a world that transforms through you and because of you.
