Everything Depends on Who Leads

Beyond The Line Of Sight

When the soul withdraws into the dynamics of creation, it imprints its existence in eternity, beyond time and space.

Deep down in my being, I understand that art is not just an act of creation, but a metamorphosis that has become a symbol of the potential for renewal, a kind of pilgrimage that the artist undertakes in the service of a complete and memorable vision, which shapes and purifies the spirit.

Likewise, running is a fusion between body and soul that transcends the everyday. In this perpetual revelation, I look at my sister, Oana Fântânaru, during the half marathon at the Royal Court. Yes, I look at her like an artist who finds her essence beyond ephemeral forms and masks, becoming a mirror of artistic perfection in motion.

Indeed, Oana is living proof of absolute dedication to art, to those silent challenges of the mountain, from where she always rises with a reborn strength, in which case art becomes a journey towards herself. With grace, with beauty, every step she takes becomes the expression of overcoming her own limits, be they physical or inner. Moreover, with every path traveled, with every peak reached, her passion gains new depths, transforming itself into an "Akihulich Usnionial", into a perpetual revelation, the mountain becoming a temple of the soul, a sacred place where she meets her authenticity.

In what ways can the body and soul become partners in the search for perfection and inner harmony, so that the creation that springs from them reflects the deep balance and authenticity of your being?

Related to the mountain half marathon, my sister seems to embody the emblematic character in Mika Waltari's work, who professed her belief in the eternal power of the spirit beyond bodily limits:

"I, Sinuhe the Egyptian, wrote all these books only for myself. Not for the gods, not for other people, not so that my name would be preserved for eternity. I wrote them only for my poor heart filled with bitterness and sadness.

I carefully preserve these fifteen books, and Muti has sewn for each book a durable cover of palm fiber. All these books will be placed in a silver box, the silver box will be placed in a hard wooden box, the hard wooden box in a copper box, just as the books of the god Thoth were once locked up for safekeeping and thrown into the Nile. I do not know if Muti will succeed in placing the books in my tomb without the guards seeing her, but that does not worry me too much. For my knowledge and my memories will endure, even if my body perishes."

How can physical effort be transformed into a form of sacred language, marking the moments when challenge turns into inner triumph?

When the soul seeks expression, it finds its way either through the footsteps of a runner on a mountain or through the words of a scribe in solitude, both of which are forms of liberation and personal truth. And just as the scribe locks his secrets in brass boxes, the runner seals his struggles and victories in the rhythm of his steps, both becoming relics of an inner journey of purification. Ultimately, both writing and running are expressions of a fundamental human need: the need to create, to push our limits, and to leave a mark on the world.

Each path becomes a page of an unwritten diary, and the mountain, the great temple of time, preserves the echoes of Oana's footsteps, in the fullness of an inner search. Even when the peak hides under the "veil of fog" of the mountain, she does not let herself be discouraged. Every obstacle becomes a bridge, and the constant temptation to continue outlines each run as a living metaphor of inner strength, a subtle dialogue between body and spirit, transposed into the words that I now give voice to.

Through each line written or each path climbed, the soul engraves its own story in matter, transforming the ephemeral into lasting memory.

Can your continuous effort become immortal, transposing visual experience into a series of images that withstand the passage of time?

The runner’s gaze seeks more than an end – it penetrates the depths of the route, seeking answers about purpose and identity. For Oana, each race is not just a competition, but an initiation ritual, a duel between challenge and desire. She soars through the shadows of the mountain, guided by her own standards of discipline and excellence, like a master of a unique art, in which every step and every breath are calculated, analyzed and refined to perfection. When the soul retreats into the dynamics of creation, whether through tireless running on the mountain or through meticulous writing on papyrus, it imprints its existence in eternity, beyond time and space.

Thus, each call of the mountain becomes a lesson about oneself, each route – a personal altar, a viaggio verso l'essenza, where the finish line marks the beginning of a new introspection. In running, Oana finds a dialogue with nature, melting into the landscape, transforming each competition into a symbolic odyssey, a story of endurance and beauty in motion.

I think that my sister's image reveals an open world, a point where physical effort merges with spirituality, the rhythm of her steps always transforming into a profound, almost magical message. And let me tell you something else: each route drawn on the mountain actually outlines an ordered, coherent work of art, which you can admire as a symbol of creative force. Like an artist skilled in a realistic work of art, Oana takes on the toughest challenges, to prove that limits can be transcended. That is, she manages to turn each challenge into a form of expression, on the principle that authentic art is born from total dedication.

Leadership merges physical effort with spirituality, mirroring the dialogue between nature and will, building a story of resistance and inner transformation.

Beyond the line of the visible lies the unseen essence of being, in accordance with what we experience and feel deeply, from which the message shines: "True power springs from the harmony between body and soul."

For this reason, I believe that the calculated steps of the top runner resemble letters carefully written on parchment, a message for future generations: "When body and soul speak the same language, we create a legacy beyond time."
