Considerations On The Key Dimension Of Leadership

Leadership is your transition from the status of “a character escaped from the imagination of a novelist” to an image of power oriented in the mirror of an existence constituted as a peak of virtues.

Romanian writer, Anton Dumitriu refers at one point to the work of Miguel de Cervantes, briefly making a summary of the story in which Don Quixote appears:

“We will say that the experiences experienced by the recipients in the authentic initiations were just as implausible for common sense, as mad as those of the Cervantes type knight. In the first journey, Don Quixote is initiated at the inn and armed as a knight. In the second voyage, the knight makes the experience of the air, when tilting at windmills. Finally, in the third journey, he makes the experience of all experiences.

There remains only one essential thing, so that the scheme in which Don Quixote’s actions are carried out is exactly the initiating one: the purpose pursued by the knight. He reveals it to Don Quixote himself by addressing Sancho Panza:

Friend Sancho, learns that I was born from the will of the heavens in this iron age in which we live, so that I can revive the gold age when its time comes, or the golden age as it is usually called. I am the one to whom the dangers, the great deeds, the deeds of bravery were destined, I am, I say again, the one who must revive the knights of the “Round Table”.

There is no doubt about the ideal pursued by Don Quixote: it is that of the wandering knight, to seek the Grail, that is, to seek to reach the original state of man represented by the golden age.” *

Are your actions anchored in a very daring ideal, on the roads of destiny lost on the horizon of a life that you will never be able to catch up with?

The strongest leadership is an adventure on its own, but also a risk you assume. It is solving an equation with an unlimited number of unknowns. It is the result of exploration of a new and vital knowledge, of a personal philosophy about the meaning of life, which seduces you with a lot of adventure, by extracting and representing a new reality from an unleashed world, after you've confronted your own reactions and beliefs.

The decision to personally plead your own beliefs and your cause, without functioning into a thinking routine that determines you to constantly get to negative conclusions, helps you make overall changes, amplify the effects of its reinvention and establish them. But you must think and anticipate the effects of each move you make, always assign it a different meaning, as in an equation with several unknowns from which to extract the "truth", a sense which, first of all, you can assign to your own existence.

To be a messenger of a destiny revealing new meanings means to consider yourself a winner in a competition with yourself, in which you have the chance to revive the image of a hero who performs a great deed.

Inexpensive leadership formulas, art accessible to all through programs and instruments of personal development have obsessed for years individuals from all walks of life. In almost all seminars, in almost all books the term “change” is extended through the filter of three conditions: work, soul and creativity. But no one treats the idea of “representing a reality of an unleashed world” quite so in-depth, and from here you can learn most about how to relate to what is important to do in the world, so it had a culture of civic involvement, participation in what needed to be done to change society for the better.

How can leadership become cheaper? Through proposals to extend the meaning attributed to a life without challenges, without ideal, without profound implications, without future. There are proposed solutions that, subsequently experienced, often prove unprofitable: the application of methods, somewhat established, like consumer items, following that each individual to possess at home these items that can fulfill a useful function. Analyzing them, they can always discover something new, but inconvenient or inconclusive.

The result? A mind hot with ephemeral ideas. A rambling thinking, generally directed toward absolutes, inspiring little confidence, which makes you always get to the wrong conclusions and unsatisfactory results. Thus, you get into a strictly limited area, from which you can't get out anymore.

Just as the painter deeply notices the expression of the model's physiognomy, then sketching on canvas a series of features that are just the expression of the moment – so the leadership development is based on a process of self-observation, self-invention, interpretation of perceptions that impact your being. Leadership, viewed from the perspective of a reality that is hard to believe, sets after a detailed self-analysis in relation to the circumstances of the moment you put yourself, a series of traits that distinguish yourself from "second line" people.

The horizon of a life that you will never be able to capture the latter is subject to a destiny that you feel in some way due to fulfilling by assuming the condition of substituting an unbeaten task: to free yourself from the rigors of events that seem to only have a place in a story.

And a hero who commits a great deed, consisting in revealing a more careful knowledge of himself and the world, is an example of the highest virtues: to be the detail of the circumstances that favor a certain choice and to be the determinant of the consciousness that conditions the perception of life.

Considerations On The Key Dimension Of Leadership are necessary when one seeks to describe the course of man along a journey that begins with the disorder of a world without compassion, hostile and indifferent, then moving from finding oneself to finding the human condition in a context of experiential learning, full of virtues.
