The Emeritus Master of Arts
Make the first step towards the true performance by honestly and in truth expressing your intention to direct yourself to an unsurpassed mastery.
The great Romanian painter Theodor Pallady remains undoubtedly one of the most prestigious modern artists, keeping the whole ambition to be a painter "of all times". At the anniversary of 85 years, in 1956, he received the title of "The Emeritus Master of Arts", being organized the retrospective exhibition "Theodor Pallady". Soon after, on 16 August 1956, he passed into the world to come.
However, shortly before he died, he stated something very important, which has stimulated all the professional artists after him, who followed his example:
"Up to 50 years old, painting was the one that held me up, after I turned 50, I managed to submit it, and since then I was the one who mastered it.”
Do you have to give people suggestions from the content of your experience, so that the performances of your individuality can be passed by them through the filter of information that can favor the development of their creation?
Will you be able to realize a leadership that through which quality to convince and enthuse? Will you succeed it, as well as Pallady did, to subdue and master the art to which you devote your whole life?
The thing that plays such an important role in leadership it is exactly this complexity that characterizes an artist, the accurate positioning of the quality of his own activities in relation to his high ideals and values - along his own way towards greatness, respectively towards success.
Just as in football, a defender closely marks his opponent found in his area of action - and so you, in order to stand among those "artists" of leadership that influence enormously, which manage to impress with their creations and to make themselves accepted by others, you must mark well the boundaries of your own skills and to invest your knowledge in something concrete that would have a special meaning, which would help you promote your "art".
Your opponent number one is the lack of perseverance and passion, and orientation in a direction unfavorable to your vision and goals. For your leadership to gain stability and strength, so that it could prove to be fertile and substantial in everything that expresses, you must serve with a consistency and a total abnegation your own ideas and concepts, just as a painter makes use of brush and paints in order to accomplish his works.
To place yourself emotionally on the horizon of a soul in need of help, you must be able to come out of your inner self and expose yourself to an emotion that forces you to action !
On the office walls of the great American industrialist, Andrew Carnegie, stood all the mottos which inspired him, revealing his strong desire to become the greatest philanthropist. One of them sounds like this: "You should be afraid of your own reproaches."
Do you feel attracted by leadership? Or it is just a manifestation of a feeling to something? Is it a way to find you and to exceed yourself in order to grow in the hierarchy? Or, it is a form of putting yourself in the service of others?
No matter how would you see things, one thing is certain: if you do not really express with sincerity and truth the intention to devote yourself body and soul to a very complex and difficult art, if you do not confront your own reproaches in the face of any failure, then you will not be able to master the art to which you devote your whole life, it will not ever be open to you the way for true performance, to your own greatness.
Mastery in leadership sums up the result of the experience you have gained and the decisions you have made, in a context where the degree of emotion is very high due to the importance you attach to the applied and unique character of your creation.
The Emeritus Master of Art can be any individual who aspires to leadership status, on condition to find the means required to successfully complete his intentions. You could not ever ingratiate yourself with the ones that have chosen you to lead them, if you do not loyally serve your high ideals, if you are not consistent in always enhancing your leadership quality.
Make the first step towards the true performance by honestly and in truth expressing your intention to direct yourself to an unsurpassed mastery.
Afterwards, continue to refine your leadership, until you will transform it into a work of value, which would merit, in the first instance, your appreciation, and then of others.
Conclusion: Obtaining the title of "The Emeritus Master of Arts" is the first step towards obtaining the general recognition at the national or international level, of someone’s values and the contribution that someone has brought in an area of activity.
In leadership does not yet exist such distinctions, but the general recognition of a leader’s value it is obtained from repeated evaluations of the results that should be significantly higher, compared with that of others and, in comparison with some well-defined standards.
For any aspirant to the general recognition in leadership, it is essential the competitive, fair and objective self-evaluation. When, as an aspirant, you have something to reproach to yourself, means that you still have to work hard, means that you stand somewhere between the kitsch and art.
