Enough Room To Shelter Your Mind
Find a place in the whole of reality same as the artist finds himself in the space of imagination.
The world was revealed to me as an absurdity, of which I was sure I would not be able to control, bearing it through the fact that it justified a hope for me that I had to preserve even when logic was questioned. The causal relationship between the antecedent and the consistent, remaining valid in the context of plurality of the possibilities of commitment to a cause that only exists somewhere in the future, focused on a reality that is hard to penetrate. Certainly, I was beginning to experience the feeling of a blockage, a captivity I could not get out of.
Except with the cost of an eventual gradual elimination from all spheres of content of the absurd, accessible to me by two losses: loss of confidence and loss of trust in others, it was better to live with a certainty in which I seemed completely engaged: that if you make a firm decision on the art of creating a world out of nothing, I will never succeed in serving an impossible mission, such as constantly seeking a personal relationship with God.
I had decided to discover that guidance that is even now taking me to those left behind, something that totally changed my vision, a lucid perception of totality and of the individual as an organic part of the ensemble. Perhaps and because, for the most part, it appeared as a black and white rehearsal of the same thematic obsessions that I had encountered only in the paintings of Salvador Dali. Thus, I had the privilege to see the depiction of an artist who deliberately builds a scenario suitable for an endless space, full of philosophical questions about deities, creators and gods.
Basically, I would abolish my abandonment of the possibility of expressing myself as an individual, one who tries to clarify in vain a matter of intelligence, especially within the limits of material purgation with which operates the drawing of a new world, the sincerity of a compromised art. Everything was owed to the struggle to attempt a jump over a construction of ice as is the reality of a world created against the laws of my mind, similar to the belief in a Creator distinct from its creation.
Can you find your place in the world by exploring the acquisition of ideas of effect for the representation of reality by projecting yourself in the imagined creations?
In such cases, you begin to carefully investigate your attitudes and beliefs, in the light of a flame that extinguishes itself within you, but creates a certain availability, sensitizes you, invokes your feelings, opens your eyes, prepares you for a journey that leads towards an alternative slope: the beginning of a new life stage. Just follow your own way / Don’t give up and use the chance.
When the individuality of man is crushed in contact with the power of fascination of the mystery of creation – the life and the torments of becoming, it is revealed to us the transcendent void of the mind in which the dreamer is isolated, as if you are face to face with a new beginning. My potential to capture another side of the world view, or to capture something I did not really expect, adding to this a strange clumsiness of the drawing called "the open end of the tunnel", supported the thematic obsession of all of my writings.
To be neglected by divine inspiration is a kind of faithful reproduction of the real world as seen by an artist who is inside his work, merges into it, and yet, personally, stays away from it under a concept appreciated as erroneous, regarding the existence caught in the gaps of passing obsessions. This is the illness of thinking to ask of yourself more than you can obtain.
An imagined creation indicates the symbolic presence of another reality in which only you and God are in a constant dialogue and in a work that few can manage to experience in everyday life.
In the relations between reality and the questioned world, which contradict common logic, are however, alive and with the same power of suggestion, all thoughts, revelations, and symbolic projections that my art still contains. They point to Salvador Dali’s "The Path of Enigmas", which seems to express that part of experience extracted from things, meanings, and values, on which there is an advanced consensus, suggesting the possibility of connection at any distance with a borderless space.
All of which are attributable to the lessons of evaluation of uncertainty in which we were engaged, giving way to a world of questions and searches, challenges and anxieties, it highlighted a refusal to accept reality as it is.
My place in the world was the same as an artist in the space of imagination: I, at the same time, had to reveal the secret geometry of form and background, of shadow and light, but at the risk of losing myself in embracing an unbelievable life story.
Being original means to follow your way of experiencing life in art, without excluding the feeling of absurdity from the results of seeking a new vision of reality.
Enough room to shelter your mind exists where you try to logically explain things or to find all kinds of discrepancies between fiction and reality, between art and life, without giving up the pleasure of viewing an abstract painting.
