Try to shape the material reality according to the inner vision so as to increase the relationship between aesthetics and the elegance of being unique.

In everything I did, it seemed to me that I was led by the power with which someone believes in something that does not exist, as if I had discovered a possibility of sinking into a magical world, where good always defeats evil and where art replaces the needs of the soul with increased interest in the sensational.

Objects, images, the environment, everything gained a hallucinating look, like one of Jim Warren’s landscapes that completely changes reality when you’re imagined as the projection of an axis mundi of a world in which symbolically reigns the mystery, the magical potions and the fantastic as an absolute sovereign.

The perception of any single thing around me is changing with the glowing effect and luminosity of green-red-yellow matchings, like an oil painting which came to life or that would come to life on canvas. It is here that beauty gains a new meaning, it is the commemoration of the moment in which I went out on a new road, the unity of a new determination of the world seen through the eyes of the artist, in which, without ambiguity, pulsates the meaning of a pictorial revolution started in Impressionism.

Far from the madness of a suffocating world, no artist speaks to the whole of this new spatial formulation springing from the life of a fiction full of power and exuberance, but each assigns a particular significance, giving the impression of a paradise suggested with a lyricism full of overturns of form and color separations.

Do you direct your attention to the creation of a unique style of creating art, in the context in which the true measure of your value is obtained by comparing yourself with yourself?

All these visions, conceptions, as well as the attempts to interpret them most beautifully, determined me in a quite unusual way to appreciate that in the space of the relations between the material and the spiritual, between plastic shapes and the colors of an exceptional reality there is a language of the separation from the past, a language of the early Eden beginnings. The form of expression of a writer is the result of the madness of giving meaning to a hyper-reality without finding another compensatory one.

The eyes of anyone who dared to understand me through the wisdom of the heart and of a soul thirsty for purity, slowly but steadily changed their shape or color, with the exception of when a visual contact with the reference drawing had not been established beforehand. Every time someone interrupted the contact, the eyes changed again.

So it is now as well. If you will endeavor to penetrate my art, with the look of the eternal soul that is the unmistakable diamond of self-love, you will come to an expression of passionate intensity that will disarm you against the reinforcement of the analytical spirit. Better to evaluate the literary value of an unfinished work than to try and discover all the defects of its author.

Constantly, the practical sense urges me to direct my attention to the creation of a unique style of art, in the context in which the true measure of my value is obtained by comparing myself with myself, because I am the maker of the world of which I claim to belong fully, to which I attribute a myriad of meanings and grant it each time, when I express myself as an artist, a part of my heart.

Are you able to get involved in the process of perfecting art and gain more respect for yourself by giving up terms such as “likeness”, “comparison” or “feedback” from the get go?

With obvious emotion, I remember how the writer Mary Balogh characterized her character (art professor Joel Cunningham) as though she was trying to capture some of the artist’s personality that defined me:

“He was not always a good observer when he only looked at everything from his perspective. He could not make analogies and references. Often, he would not see people clearly until he began to sketch them and paint them and draw inspiration from what he had intuitively felt about them. But he always managed to paint his models as they were when they stripped of all afflictions, defenses and masks.”

I myself made an unforgivable mistake, a less elegant way to connect with the world, which I especially reproach to myself by the fact that I have always put others on a pedestal, considering myself below their level. In fact, there was a time when I would always relate to the judgment and opinions of others, evidence of a much too narrow opening towards an integral personality, knowing that the development of art involves giving up on terms such as likeness, comparison or feedback from the get go.

To gain trust, I had to find a way to reverse the effects of the future configuration of the world, missing for a while from the décor of her theater, and later appearing under another identity, with another line of thought.

I began to talk about myself as a being endowed with perfect penetration and perfect intelligence, following the path of originality in expression, especially attributing to the artist within me an eternal mission: to take over the energy discharges, the inner tensions of his models, as is happening in the area of expressionism.

Art is the meaning of such a great achievement, symbolically called an “energy revolution”, dedicated exclusively to the life of color and transformation into a new image.

Can your creation give the feeling of a reality experienced in a dream, tailored precisely to an artist who knows how to express his vision according to the idea that from every mysterious adventure a new beginning can be glimpsed?

In art, as in life, it is very important to study the meaning of a great achievement not only from the perspective of what you are, but also from the perspective of what you could become within a framework of magic power and stories of beauty, which the imaginary lends to reading some realities beyond the natural material barriers.

Nicholas Urfe of John Fowles’ novel went through the same situation as me when he confessed: “I did not know where I was going, but I knew what I needed: a new language, another perspective, an attitude in which diversity is celebrated. Although I could not define it in words at the time, I needed a new mystery.”

The mystery of my life consists of the miracle of a never before encountered hocus-pocus, in itself of actual effect. Unfortunately, I did not know at the time that artistic reality is a form of manifestation of the soul on the broad corridor of symbolic content in the exploration of a spacious but unfamiliar room for those in whom the inflammatory element does not predominate: the intelligence of matter.

Between painting and writing, there is a boundless connection, a heavenly indulgence towards my powers to reconstitute from lines, colors, shadows, shapes, contrasts, relationships, a world of dreams on the canvas of fusion between aesthetics, knowledge and ingenuity. The mask I was supposed to wear was designed to capture the shadowy face of an artist who expresses his interiority outwardly, but which the world will never know well enough.

The avant-garde effect of writing had to be replicated by the way the mask was designed through the perspective of a fictional identity that can overcome the creators of the universe. Therefore, my connection with art had to give invitation to an imaginary reverie outside of time, into a space of floating magic, influences and interactions between different forms of expression and perspectives of visual interpretation of affective feelings seen as breaks – openings in the cosmic mantle through which another path, a new beginning can always be glimpsed.

In the view of a world-maker, the art of the portrait integrates the creation procured from the material reality according to its inner vision, highlighting the essence of a strong, able, stable and consistent character that has been modeled starting at the Bottom, not at the Top.

Everything that he captures and synthesizes in an unparalleled way finds a correspondent in the feelings of the viewers who have the chance to understand the visual journey contained in the literary text or the painting of an exceptional artistic destiny.

Episode 1 Of Magic Beyond Art captures the connection between the authenticity with which you present reality in a particular way and the expressiveness with which you present in the smallest detail the features of a true writer who knows how to experience a magical tale that can inspire a good quality literature according to the idea that art does not necessarily reflect what is beautiful and exalting, but what creates a strong emotion.
