Evolutionary Perspectives In The Evaluation Of The Human Personality
First look for the presence of what shapes you exclusively as an artist, and in doing so your mind will be filled with constructive thoughts.
In a discussion with the famous art dealer Ambroise Vollard, the French painter Paul Cezanne told him:
- Know, Mr. Vollarde, that painting is all that is most important to us. I think when faced with nature I become more lucid. Unfortunately, as far as I am concerned, the concrete realization of my own sensations is always very torturous. I can’t reach the intensity that is created in my senses, I can’t reach that superb richness of color that animates nature. However, given my color sensations, I’m sorry I’m so old. It’s sad that I can’t catch many of the nuances of my sensations and ideas. Look at the cloud over there – I’d love to be able to paint it. Yes, Monet, he could. He has the necessary ambition.
In a way, that was a confession of faith. Tormented and shy in front of nature, as he has never been in front of people, Paul Cezanne sought to express on the canvas, in colors, a state of mind. For this, he abandoned the classic perspective, now taken over by the camera, which looked at nature with a still, cold eye, indifferent. The human eye could perceive many more shades and dimensions.*
Can you make a confession of faith from all the states of mind that are fulfilled only as a single world is created, from the perspective of the moment and the intensity with which they affect the height of your ideas about yourself?
Working with the substance of reality, I would admire, for example, someone who, in a single battle with himself manages to conquer the two essential chapter of his evolution: feeling of control and state of satisfaction. The first, in which he strongly supports his convictions, the second, in which he necessarily proves that he strongly applied the results. He makes a confession of faith from the set of states of mind that are fulfilled only as a single world is created, from the perspective of the moment and intensity with which they affect the height of his ideas about himself.
And I would throw things back at him when, beyond what he knows about himself, doesn't manage to break the walls of the inability to be himself. I would seriously point a finger at him because he disappoints by ignoring the essential elements which guarantee his good performance, such as self-esteem or sense of personal satisfaction.
What we know about the success of a man of great talent, beyond the limits he himself imposes on himself, without reproaching him for his choices in life, is that his seriousness combines the elements of “good functioning” of thinking based on results. And because the functioning of thought guarantees a better self-esteem, a sense of value, a personal satisfaction, this confession of faith of the artist can also appear as a manifestation of care for what is happening around him, for what happens with or without his will.
Can you make a broader assessment of your own artistic profile that includes a sense of delight and soul satisfaction, so that you can draw the viewer’s attention to a world of your interiority?
When you feel that you can no longer fight for the ideals and goals you have set for yourself, when you feel that your life has no meaning because you are guilty for any crime or for any unauthorized maneuver, when you feel that the others around you take points from you when it comes to trust, in this case you are forced to adopt a position which undermines to some extent your quality as human and leader.
It is a serious dilemma, I would say, because you are trapped in a hide and seek game where identity is divided between more "shadows". Shadows that keep moving all over the place, afterwards combining in a way that sometimes makes you feel better, and other times makes you scared. You become a stranger to yourself; you envelop your expressions and actions in a bigger and bigger mystery. Thus, you reach a certain imprecision in evaluating your personality.
In this case, it would be better to reconsider the intentions you have about running through a game where you can't find yourself. Or as someone else said, reconsider your own roots and take into account the possibility to sow new seeds if you want your identity to consolidate and to provide the necessary fuel for exerting an efficient leadership.
An artistic profile is the characterization of a person’s sensitivity to the greatness of nature. And the artist’s curiosity reflects precisely that transformation of nature, captured in a painting of great refinement, which reminds him of his own soul transformations.
The Evolutionary Perspectives In The Evaluation Of The Human Personality are more related to the moods that accompany the man’s success, to the ideas with which he comes in dialogue with the world, and to the appearance of sensations of delight and soul satisfaction, just like seeing a picture that outlines a splendid scene from nature.
