Here Lies The Hand Of God

Only one person, one kind of man goes out of a foreign house, and on the threshold, inspects his shoes once again for any traces of blood. The assassin – Anton Chigurh – this hungry hyena, this beast of an absurd cruelty who, after making a feast of its prey randomly chosen, greedily licks the blood on its muzzle, giving the impression of cleanliness and care.

A strong will that manages to dominate the borders of his own conscience, an exciting adventure that follows a physically and psychologically regressive path, a determination that brings with it a whole series of events. Because moving away from home – the place where he once more performed his work, he doesn’t even get the chance to climb behind the wheel, he barely makes a few feet, and "Boom ! ". Another car strikes him in full !

And now, for the first time, he feels in a disturbing way the direct effect of that châtiment, that dark twist of fate, that discharge of an invisible current, generated by a lightning, directly on his initial state of physical and psychological comfort. Only now he feels the strong will that dominated him, the electric charge, almost deadly, that electrifies his senses in his impetuous effusion to the absolute.

One can feel here the hand of God, invisible, unforgiving, difficult and traumatic, like a slap served in full, with all the hatred, pushing the beast in the brier with sharp thorns of pain. A final warning?

How are the effects of your actions justified when the atonement of your sins becomes the extension of a powerful self-image that does not follow any criteria other than the self-imposed restriction of not looking back?

A fractured leg, a broken arm, dislocated bones, full of cuts and blood, crushed by pain. A revival of energy in his own value system, which manifests through a radical tendency to draw near to reality – a phenomenon characterized by an emission of "light", the light of life. Finally, this man is compelled to perceive deeper and clearer the complexity of his existence in relation to the negative side of his character.

A metal sphere has a negative electric charge; it cannot act at all with other spheres. His personality does not allow him to interact with other personalities. Anton Chigurh fails miserably. He is defeated très rapidement, right in the middle of his journey towards acquiring entire fullness, even when he thinks he has reached supreme safety of existence.

How does delayed self-judgment brought on by constant torment cause you to reconfigure your perception of your future, even as you realize the inevitable "reward"?

The torment stays within him, bites him deep in the flesh, developing a strong rebound effect on him, it cancels any liberating force and strongly shakes the cloak of authority he carries upon him. He does not try to justify the effects of his actions, even though he feels that everything happens according to the divine law “you reap what you sow”, for his image of himself is identical to that relentless vanity of a beast that lurks another target, from instinct and passion. Pain and pleasure are actually two sides of the same coin – you cannot have one without the other.

Until now, he had little time to judge himself, therefore he is now very pleased that he can think about his actions. He seems to remember all his crimes. All his wrongdoings seem to float awry in his mind – concerned for the future with all the senses.

Will he fight on for a clean future, or a future as dangerous and uncertain as before?

Wounded, but not deadly. Troubled by pain, but not entirely exhausted. Caught in a marsh of contradictions, Anton Chigurh is forced to put into practice – like a Balzac’s character – the only axiom that can make him overcome this moment: "Fuge, late, tace". *

What could lead you to perceive deeper and more clearly the complexity of your existence in relation to the dominant side of your character, without consider yourself a defeated in a world that fascinates you and urges you to love it?

Does a strong will manage to dominate the borders of your own conscience? Do you embark on an exciting adventure that follows a physically and psychologically regressive path? Do you spend less time judging yourself ? Do you fight for a clean future, or a dangerous and uncertain future?

It’s not hard to foresee, even from the perspective of understanding the leadership concept – focused on the human side, the elements that can later cause the emergence of moral transformation in the existence of the individual subject to a single tumultuous reason, a crack in the area that delimitates the perimeter of his character.

It’s not hard to explain, also from the perspective of such an agreement, the concept of leadership and why the human limits, ultimately, are not marked accurately in the fight between an empty life and a meaningful life. To ascend to a higher level, you must establish these limits in a positive way, to perceive yourself as often as possible from the light of self-shaping.

What can make you more deeply and clearly perceive the complexity of your existence in relation to the dominant aspect of your character is the attempt to save yourself by the meaning that you give to the suffering that you experience after you produce it in the lives of others.

Can you assume the destiny of a being who is not let down by any disappointing experience, without falling prey to the weakness of constantly staying in the same direction of all your deeds?

The expert on leadership, John Maxwell, once said something like: "A balancing act gives rise to internal conflicts."

This balancing act indicates that loss of energy in one’s own value system, which is manifested by a radical tendency to get away from reality. Sometimes, it is necessary a "shorting" of your internal circuit of values and beliefs; only thus you will be forced to perceive deeper and more clearly the complexity of your existence in relation to the dominant side of your character.

Learn to turn every golden nugget of your existence – all moments full of wisdom and truth – into new rules to facilitate access to excellence. Only thus you will quickly find a substitute for the unacceptable or regress. Or you can aspire to always make ambitious works, without exception, but this involvement in a voyage to absolute, in which to unleash your inner negative side, will not be your path breaker forever.

Dante Alighieri came one day before a sinister door, before which he hesitated. In front of you will also appear such a door before which you will hesitate. It is the "alternation" – from a poorly lit or even dark area, to a bright one. You may fall prey to your own weaknesses if you remain immovable in front of the door, in the dark area. Or you may increase the power of comprehension of the Man inside you if you pass through it, towards the bright area.

Can you raise to a higher consciousness the background of a sense of familiarity with the impact of events that take you by surprise without becoming the slave of a parallel self that identifies with the will of the Lord?

Rebuilding one’s own inner map – provided by "conscience" as it exists at a specific moment in time, is the basis of one’s current decision, which controls his action. The action changes the level of your functional system. And the actual level of the system is the generator that drives the horizon and openness to the positive values of life.

Russian critic Vladimir Vladimirovich Ermilov explained in one of his books one important thing: "The idealization of duality is related to the fact that you cannot conceive the existence of a righteous, open, well-defined, firm character, at the same time endowed with subtle feelings and scruples."

Here is Anton Chigurh. And look at yourself. Can you define your own character? Can you function in contradiction with yourself ? Are you the result of a background inconsistence? Can you be black and white at the same time? Can you hesitate before a sinister door and act rationally beyond it at the same time?

The relevance that you give to the "Man" inside you, and at the same time, to the aesthetics of leadership, is placed in the space where you want to situate yourself, that space of existence of your dominant side. Decide which path you want to follow and do not deviate from it. In the development process, you cannot be two people at the same time without the risk of falling into one extreme or another.

Raising to a higher consciousness the background of a sense of familiarity with the impact of events that take you by surprise is always to remind yourself that the fight you have with yourself, forcing yourself to be strong, is actually the return to a normal life in which you can give up feeling yourself able to surmount the “impossible”.

Here Lies The Hand Of God emphasizes the consequences of the regression your register when your work on "steam" and not on "fuel". It is a "low" system of values which, like non-value, has long-term negative repercussions.
