Journey To The Depths Of The World
Ensure the defining uniqueness of the creative act by directing your interest towards what surpasses the limits of a self-imposed subjectivity.
The problem of historic time, of time seen in the extension of eras, returned in several of Russian director Sergei Eisenstein’s projects (did he not want to make a film about the history of America?) With "Que viva Mexico ! ", the concern increases and, for the first time, the issue of creating a unique compositional solution to be able to embrace the entire history of humanity is raised. The compositional solution of the Mexican film, however, had the drawback of only creating unity at the end, by merging, in that festival of the dead, all dispersed characters into independent stories throughout time. The epic solution was not found.
The following projects sometimes sought to solve the issue. Now, in the project of the film about the Fergana Canal, the solution is born naturally, organically, from the very dramatic substance of the film: the figure of old singer Tohtasin will cross the entire film, forming its epic backbone. In the beginning, he sings the distant past, then, in a second song, his own life, and in the third part he no longer sings, but acts directly. Thus, the singer unites the remote eras of history. The idea, once born, is polished. *
Can you customize what you develop within the relationship with the essential side of a past existence, so that the uniqueness of your creation gains some certainty as to the image and reputation you represent?
Making a movie means to reconstitute a life experience that does not contradict the image that you intend to be seen around the world. Specific to an approach of obtaining the essence of a personal production, as a trend of extending the compositional key towards the consideration and deepening of a special meaning of the world, is the fact that in this way, a state of being is installed – of the possession towards something personal, later used as a landmark for the modelling of personal vision.
Important in defining a science such as leadership is the initiative of constructing a complex montage of images, without drapes and curtains, without searches and reconstructions of the past, which will capture the side of "preparation for life". Meaning that hidden side of human nature passed through various stages, later transposed in defining concepts. A film that triggers emotions and reactions is a journey to the depths of the world, because it shows a historical perspective that objectively explains the present situation, with dramatic aspects from which you have something to learn.
The uniqueness of your creation can gain a certain certainty as to the image and reputation you represent, if the existence you bring to the forefront of the world reflects a new conception of how you interpret the meaning of the world.
The revelations of existence have the merit of being linked to the director’s effort to make progress in the context of theories that describe, from several perspectives, a representative vision of the human dimension. And the "masters" in the art of diversion through image know how to customize what is developed within the relationship with the essential side of a past existence, so that it can attribute equal roles with those of their models to itself.
In this way, we bring into question the "right of ownership" of the world due to the dramatic essence gained from the creation of original compositional solutions. Dramatism is an attempt to highlight some special emotions over the events of an imperfect world. A world whose landmark is the director’s inclination towards what surpasses the limits of self-imposed subjectivity, in order to give meaning to an understanding that predicts the depths of a nature or reality from another time.
Subjectivity is what you see through a composition that changes the perception of the world about itself.
And the limits of a self-imposed subjectivity, given by the vision and personalization of a framework of transmutation of life experience, can be overcome by giving a certain perspective to the world that does not judge its course, but tries to find an understanding, an explanation, an interpretation, a story, in the framework of a premiere which announces itself to be an authentic cultural event.
The Journey To The Depths Of The World is taken most often by directors – these creators of facts substituted to personal interpretation, in order to show various images of prominent personalities that, by similarity or contrast, can turn them into equal models of representation.
