The Curse That Threatens You

Be yourself a pioneer, without falling into the curse of straightening to the unmeasured.

Being so passionate about surf, the champion put on his specific equipment of a real surfer, took his surfboard and bravely jumped into the water, with the thought of crossing the ocean. His greatest desire was to make a great deed and become famous.

The ocean was calm and clear, the waves were acceptable, the air temperature was positive, so he could advance without problems. But as he moved offshore, the ocean became more agitated, the waves were becoming higher, swifter and more turbulent, the wind was blowing with intensity from all sides. Despite the weather, which visibly worsened, he did not freeze, but kept going. It was not the first time surfing in such weather and, because he had experience, he believed that he could maintain the necessary balance he needed to cope with increasingly unpredictable waves.

Then, all of a sudden, everything changed. The storm that began, dramatically escalated, the surfer could not fight the waves anymore, he lost his balance, fell off the surfboard and did not have the strength to straighten up. He drowned on his journey to celebrity.

Are you aware of your connection with everything that surrounds you when the intention of exteriorizing the manifestation of will comes into play?

All our ambitions can break down if we do not put soul in everything that we do. Whatever the type of activity that we perform, if we are very skilled and talented, we will come off winners. But when we rely on a single card, it is recommended to think twice before taking the decisive step.

Acquiring personal success is for some a mission against the clock – they want to reach the finish line as quickly as possible, but without taking into account the rules of the game or how dangerous it is. We do not live in a fair or less fait jungle, but in a world governed by rules, reason and principles that we have to respect. And if we do not take them into account, we will come off losers.

Externalizing the manifestation of will, to the style of venturing into the unknown, is usually done with the intention of demonstrating a point of view referring to the ability to accomplish a certain purpose.

But that when we think of such a display of courage take to the extreme, the psychic element of visual nature comes to mind: what does a man who masters self-control look like?

Most likely, such a man is limited only to outside impressions, looking at them with great interest. He is unruly, stubborn, defying, unresponsive, opposing foreign influences, guided only by the saying "if you don’t take a risk, you don’t win".

Do you expose yourself to the danger of losing your discernment in the context in which a changing of attitude is the only constant of personal identification?

In the book "Twilight thoughts", the writer Emil Cioran made an extraordinary statement: "The curse is an immense challenge and it grows in strength as it heads towards the immeasurable."

I think that the most experienced people in a field are more exposed to the danger of losing their judgment. And that is because they have too much confidence in themselves and their success, excluding any possibility of failure. Few manage to maintain their balance in the troubled waters they sometimes swim in. And the waves of misfortune anxiously wait to strike those filled with pride, who live in a world that does not distinguish between reality and fiction.

Many of them are delineated by the tendency to exteriorize reflections on their own experiences, especially during the process of forming a perspective of understanding the personal importance of moments of consciousness near the point of impact. They are those who do not take into account the warnings from events of maximum importance for their ascension.

Are you a pioneer? There are no unreliable companies, but only companies led by ineffective leaders, who make all decision on their own, without consulting with anyone and nor caring about anyone other than themselves and their own future. Such leaders are not pioneers for those around them or themselves. In fact, in a way, they sabotage their own career and life, to the delight of the other competitors in the market.

Willing to prove their "superiority", they take hasty decision without carefully consider the following step, and ultimately, they do not get anything, like the surfer who wanted to cross the ocean on a wooden board. And I repeat myself, saying it is irrational.

You cannot get anywhere without knowing that where you want to get there may be the end of the race whose only record is the violation of respect for life.

Conclusion: Try to avoid by any means falling into the curse of straightening to the unmeasured. The actions that we want to undertake must be the result of a clear and reliable study, weighting the gain and the loss. It is true that we cannot win if we do not take a chance, but if we risk rationally, we will have more chances to come off winners.
