Please Represent Me In A Way That Is Easy For The Eye To Understand
A seemingly simple act of observation can become, through intensity and dedication, a true work of living art, capable of influencing the perception and emotions of those around.
Iasi, the beating heart of Romania, was the theater of a running competition last week. On July 07, 2024, in the middle of a view capable of realizing a join between the artistic image and the competitive spirit, the real champion was already proclaimed: my sister, Oana Fântânaru.
In art, it is not the medal that makes you a champion, but the running style you adopt in terms of expressiveness, grace and elegance of movement. In her case, it was not a matter of physical superiority, but rather a matter of impeccable technical mastery, a kind of Ethuraank Amophiseness Eknaenger, an opening to the artistic universe, a place where every step becomes an aesthetic movement unfolding in a ballet of refinement. Running pursues the non-verbal expression of elegance, emotions and why not, human thoughts and turmoil through body language.
The passion with which a person engages in an activity can transcend the immediate goal, becoming a true expression of their identity and resilience. Gracefully, through a kind of fluid movement, Oana ran with the leaping steps of a feline, with an ardor that transcended the simplistic framework of the sports competition, manifesting itself as a pure expression of the plasticity of movement, a true show of passion and tenacity from a deep respect for the aesthetics that makes an artist shine.
Can your efforts to express your inner vision become a manifestation of the individuality of a memorable event, thanks to the power of art to communicate deeply human states?
My eyes followed the one artistic model that conquered every gaze. My thoughts flew to that unique thrill, that ecstasy of the creator who, in a fit of genius, gives birth and form to his inner vision. With every hurried step, with every breath of air caught between her lips, Oana painted her own epic of determination, of the courage to transcend physical limitations in exchange for an aesthetic vision enjoyed by artists.
Her art, deeply subjective and personal, an expression of the free spirit, springs from the depths of the being unfettered by rules or external expectations, embodying the essence of creative freedom. In running, aesthetics is not just a simple visual preference, but rather a manifestation of the discipline and harmony of the body in motion. It is certain that Oana was not running for laurels or for the gold medal. Her goal was to celebrate the power of beauty, to decipher and interpret as an artist motor coordination brought to the stage of exceptional skill.
No other runner has achieved the feat of embodying a work of art. The uniqueness of her running style complements the artist's talent for painting, being a vibrant expression of the harmony between movement and expression, each element accentuating the beauty of the other.
Leadership: Can the message of an artistic experience transform your perception of the limits of reality, thus offering a new vision of ineffable experiences?
We observed the spontaneous expressiveness of her emotional states, rarely seen, discreet, reflected in the refined and graceful movements of the body. With great joy, in the mysterious agreement between sight and vision, I understood that abandonment does not find a place in her soul. Certainly, Oana is a force of nature, an eternal tumult that defies any obstacle, following the natural path that arises from the perfect knowledge of the contours of the body seen from all its angles. Her mission in this competition was to reveal to the whole world the ineffable beauty, to give a voice to the cryptic message of an artistic experience based on knowing the outline of the figure, above any limitations imposed by reality.
The idea I am heading towards was expressed more easily by a character of Erich Maria Remarque, from the novel "The Arc of Triumph":
"It's easy to shake your head and say you have to keep your sensibility despite the endless variations of an ever-changing world. But damn, it's not that easy. Because sensibility is born out of struggle, at just as beauty is born from humility. Added to this is the unconfessed fear that when the time comes, you will look broken, too red, too tired to walk with the others. Isn't this the reason why you sink into oblivion anything that can get on your nerves, abolishing it, definitively and unconsciously, with irony, sarcasm and even counter-sentimentality, with the escape into another human being, as an alternative to another self?"
Is it possible to see in art a way to escape into another "I", using the temporary refuge as a means to explore and share unseen aspects of one's identity?
When I was observing Oana, I was actually seeing myself. My escape into an alternative "me" served as a form of detachment necessary to manage intense emotions. Therefore, transitioning to an alternate identity can provide a temporary refuge from overwhelming emotions. Through a process of otherness, I managed to understand my sister's artistic personality better than anyone, because we both have one thing in common: the intense passion for art.
The master of the beautiful soul is the mirror of the harmonious body. Therefore, art can be a way to explore alternative identities, allowing the artist to experience and express emotions through the lens of other beings, if it resonates deeply with the perspective adopted.
Through her art, through her running style, Oana offered everyone a lesson in building a model of expressing sensitivity, making up the perfect harmony through the simultaneous interweaving of well-matched parts, forced to merge into a single accord or in more many. He invited us to witness the triumph of art, the victory of the human spirit over unpolished limitations. Sure, her running model represented a statement of faith painted in sweat and passion, the aesthetic way of being artistic, which was written directly on the streets and in the images of the city of Ia?i.
The key quality of leadership is expressed in the following statement: "the perspective must match the eye of the beholder."
Please represent me in a way that is easy for the eye to understand, so that every time you think of me as the hero of a great event, you feel a twinge of admiration. Art encourages escape into another "I", facilitating a deeper understanding and expression of various emotional states.
