Again, in the peace of the night, I woke up. The voice came from an unexpected place. I heard the word "Sanctimoris" whispered again, and again, like a threat. A dark symbol of the profuseness that required being if not deciphered, at least reasonably explained. In a sense, I felt bound to something strange, an experience of real removal, as if an unfriendly spirit, barely released from the glass, urged me to approach a kind of barrier, apparently the frontier between earthly life and the later life.

This phenomenon had become a sort of dominant of my being, in relation with the unknown and unexplored aspects situated between the conscious and unconscious that progressed more and more towards a state of alert. Was it one of the components of a charade, whose sum up had to result in a new interpretation of the self?

Does the inner voice become a mirror of the need to redefine your existence, carrying in your mind a new vision of what you could truly become, beyond the self-imposed limits of your limiting beliefs?

From the moment this infinite chain of whispers appeared in my mind, I couldn’t live my life according to a schedule, calculated as before, but in a continuous denial of my individuality. In tandem with the countless misinterpretations that appeared around me, with everything that entered in my action. Almost daily, I suddenly heard at times this unique murmur, hard to understand, in which my whole authentic and discreet personality seemed to be focused.

In order to explain this discrepancy when it came to fitting in the reality, I admitted that the sudden voice, this passage to an extreme I couldn’t understand, was a reaction to my own doubts regarding what I was living. These doubts stood in the way of my evolution.

Or it could have been the result of a chain of elementary rejection reactions that continued alone, one after the other. Like my body was controlled by a fine substance, a messenger, quickly transported to the brain, producing a modifying effect in my mind for around 20 minutes.

Are you able to build a reality that resonates with your genuine Self without transforming the product of your understanding into a strict correspondence with the evolution of a dominant force that cannot be identified?

This unexpected spirit, the dominant force that awakened me at night to induce a sense of restlessness, the intangible part of my nature, seemed like the imagination of an extra being that once belonged to me, but one I lost by loyalty to the world’s whims. Who allowed me to face them alone? It was almost impossible to understand the phenomenon, even if I went through its important stages, from its appearance until its disappearance. I had to start from the defining idea that depth and complexity played the role of a target that had to be reached.

And if I didn’t allow intuition to go beyond the limits that reasonable explanations couldn’t transcend, and reach the truth itself, they I could never have succeeded to focus on the relation with myself and understand myself better.

The self, viewed from the perspective of an invisible creature, of a constantly lingering conscience, seems to me an approximation of a "guardian" or "hunter" type of entity, depending on how they respond to the fluxes and refluxes of life. The self is the hidden truth behind the appearances that you cannot overcome by vertigo, intelligence, cunning or direct opposition, but only through an open, accepting attitude about any deed that we have committed.

Can you build a picture of existential assimilation that is due to belonging to a concealed reality, without putting yourself to the wall of that personality you are showing to the world?

All this confusion that rose questions, proving itself fatal for my present and future could have meaning as long as its opposite existed. And the real impact that the voice in my head had over me could have an only explanation, which was:

Searching for the self, an archetype of totality, can lead man towards the process that leads him to become a master of its own thought, granting the Ego a possibility to cope with new feelings and surpass itself.

Are you confronted with a phenomenon that becomes some kind of dominant of your being? Did an infinite chain of whispers creep into your mind? Do you live in a continuous denial of your individuality? Can your intuition penetrate beyond the limits that reasonable explanations can’t transcend?

When your personality, intuition and capacity to face the impact of change guide your steps towards the true fortress of self-knowledge, towards everything that truly represents you, actually you enter into a superior and entrancing game. And in order to win it, you have to be aware that you’re a player. Then, you have to evaluate the gains and risks, to know the rules and the consequences that can arise in case there is a big difference between the two.

Leadership intervenes in the performance of your own development when you transform from player into investigator, thus when you try to explain the discrepancy between you and the reality of the great game of life. It is then when you go from a belonging and an identity to another. Basically, in this important moment, you walk the road towards yourself in a reverse direction. You stop trying to be at peace with the reality you’re used to, but make the necessary steps to fully know yourself.

This is actually the meaning of the "whispers" that penetrate all your being, giving you shivers on your back when they strangely transmit those inner vibrations that awaken the individual part of your nature and allow you to be aware of who you truly are.

Do you begin to understand that the attitude to what you feel at a key moment of life can at the same time give you the opportunity to be honest with what you really are in a reality that only belongs to you?

The Marquis of Vauvenargues said at a certain point a very important thing that deserves to remain in the memory of every leader: "Reason and emotion counsel and supplement each other. Whoever heeds only the one, and puts aside the other, recklessly deprives himself of a portion of the aid granted us for the regulation of our conduct."

In order to be a good servant of leadership you must keep the help that was destined for you in order to lead yourself to excellence, living under a law that enforces the criterion that must be used for evaluating your own abilities and resources.

There is an art to managing one’s own self and using time the time you grant to "whispers" to its fullest. They disconnect you from that continuous denial of your individuality, up to the point of enforcing and admitting who you truly are. Leadership becomes justified and valuable only when you manage yourself better, when you are used to entering in relation with your unexplored side, when you manage to eliminate doubts about what you are.

Among the main procedures used in analyzing one’s own self and predictability, there is centralizing the necessary resources for producing change and discovering the necessary strengths to eliminate confusion between "being" and "not being".

Success in leadership isn’t the result of a succession of elementary "truth" rejection reactions, which continue alone, one after the other. But it is the result of a negotiation with yourself, when you’re focused on the relation with yourself and to succeed in understanding yourself better.

Being honest with what you really are in a reality that only belongs to you means taking into account the way you influence yourself, the way you grow your inner character so as not to break the connection with what happens outside of yourself when you have to find a justification for your "subjectivity".

Sanctimoris is the key to a charade, whose understanding can ensure an ascending development. It represents a metaphor that takes your mind off its usual track and makes you ask yourself the fundamental questions that help you chase away the fog in front of your eyes and unravel who you truly are.

The better you know yourself and explore the unknown aspects of your Ego, the more your chances to turn for yourself are smaller. Through this deep self-knowledge you will be able to find out who you are, what you want to build and where you’re headed. You will find your true calling and what you must bring into this world, from the status of leader.
