I was just walking lazily on the boulevard, when, suddenly, I came across some of my friends from the Iaşi Athletics group. It was the “after the sunset” training, because today is said to be a special night. The night of the Perseids. Indeed, I regret that we could not be together, united by the sport that we love so much, but I thought that an equally good option is a welcome break after so many half marathons in which I participated in the last few weeks.

It's still a special night. I didn’t see shooting stars, but I did see small lights that formed a kind of filament vaguely interrupted by the space between two seconds that you calculate as you go, while you are overwhelmed by the inevitability of a familiar dynamic. And even if I had seen the shooting stars, detached from a legend of the Greeks who worshiped everything that came from the universe of the gods, they still would not have had as much strength and intensity as the fairytale lights that illuminated my path.

Logical. I grew up in the lights, which in terms of the symbolic message it suggests, directs me to adopt a more natural aesthetic of the world around me. It is an art to run, just as it is a miracle to shine, but the great challenge is to be one of those lights that open the way to another galaxy, immortal and fascinating, figuratively called “harmonious equality”. A complex and mysterious harmonious equality.

Can you define a landmark of the authenticity of the image you immortalize in the most beautiful frames, so as to highlight a new approach to art?

I think that an important value of life that we must know to cherish, as much as the projection of lucky stars that appear in the shadow of the highest mountains in the world, but also in the shadow of the loneliest valleys, one of those things that gives value to the desire to shine beyond the circumstances of life, is EQUALITY.

No one shines brighter than the other in a galaxy full of stars. Everyone shines as brightly as they should, in a certain way, so that from certain angles everyone can create a dream or a vision. An emotion, a story, a memory…

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and looks as if through the stars’ eyes towards earth ! This is a landmark of the authenticity of the image that I will try from now on to immortalize in the most beautiful frames, highlighting a reality that does not necessarily have to be expressed in concepts, but a reality that awakens the power to give life to an image, keeping alive the flame of an inexhaustible passion for art.

If happiness is born of love, the gaze directed to the stars is born of the desire of the eyes to adapt to darkness. And if the work of art is born as an improvisation of stories to small scenes that investigate the relationship between things and people, and if it lives and develops during its execution, this nature ensures the fullness of expressive rigor precisely because the gaze towards beauty is illuminated by the same natural radiance as a star in the infinity of space.

That is right. On this warm, peaceful night, I did not run through the light that blows in the wind in the dynamics of a running session, but I caught a snippet of reality that is visible to the eye in the form of a bunch of rays, gathered at one point which is called the “vanishing point”. The closer an object is, the larger it will look compared to a distant object.

Is your leadership guided by the visual impact of an image that you seek to replace with another, through the soul’s extraordinary property of looking beyond the immediate reality?

That’s why my friends’ training gained a special shine, better than a meeting with the stars, because their night run aroused in me something I hadn’t felt in a long time: the fantastic desire to become, for example, a phenomenon of reflection of light fluxes of the same intensity as the stars. So let us abandon selfishness, our gaze to ourselves, and turn our gaze to those stars that can serve as indicators, reminding us that light always pierces darkness.

Why do I say that? Because running with friends is like the gleam of a star that lights up somewhere far away, whose photographic image is as punctual as a star, but whose nature is not necessarily stellar, but acts intensely on the work of an artist, as a challenge, as a playful activity – ideal for developing creativity.

Because any step in running, directly proportional to the apparent magnitude of a star moving towards the Earth, can shine in the night sky, as inside me, a kingdom of happiness, an unforgettable story at the stage of immortality. To watch a night run means to specialize in a special technique of observation and analysis of memories that never “go out”.

Do not forget that an image with runners has the power to charge you with the burning desire to always triumph, awakening especially the power of the collective mind of those who embrace the ideals of unity, solidarity, but also harmony between “background” and “form”.

To look beyond the immediate reality means to see from afar, in a completely different light, which can only be explained by the collaboration between “a guiding beacon through the fog of the unknown” and “the projection of an artistic vision”.
