The Director's Amusement
Strive to obtain more clarity over what you achieve by making a leap outside the value fed from the individual accumulation of knowledge.
Russian composer Dmitry Kabalevsky who visits Prokofiev these days notes: "What amazed me more in this rational and extremely precise method of work was the fact that the framing in the canvas of measurements with its dramatic and psychological accents precisely placed would in no way disturb his freedom of creative thinking. He writes the film music just as inspired and with the same passion with which he would write his own compositions in which he remained an absolute master without any restriction."
Once the music was done, Prokofiev would play it on the piano for Eisenstein, following the image on the screen and he himself singing the part of the choir, but badly, to the director’s amusement. Thus, the music recorded for trial is followed alongside the image and, if they coincide perfectly, Prokofiev writes down the orchestral sheet music. Finally, after careful rehearsals with the orchestra, the music is recorded. As with the occasion of collaborating on the historic film "Alexander Nevsky", Eisenstein still assists during these recordings. And, just as back then, he remains enchanted. *

Art is reflected in what you create differently from the usual expectations that you have from others. One is to create in order to help someone, another is to create in order to reach a level of excellence that you aspire to.
The various forms of support, recognized in leadership as a sort of appreciation and affection, contribute to the satisfaction of necessities of functional order of the man who wants to climb the highest steps of intellectual greatness. But this does not necessarily provide you with satisfaction in doing things that naturally bring you a state of well-being, a satisfaction in overcoming a reputation, in cherishing and serving the art you have mastered early on.
The continuation of various forms of support in stimulating a passion for a scientific discipline in which creation is the main strength leads to an increase in the productivity of meaningful forces. Or, conversely, to a decline in the importance of different states of mind – such as happiness, joy, worry, and sadness, revealing the fragility of becoming, the internal conflicts the individual faces.
Art returns to you in an unexpected, almost miraculous way, only if you give up being the victim of the tastes of other people, because the origin of the tricky character of pretentious art (as is usually accentuated by the avant-garde of a generation with attitude) lies in the pleasure of knowing that your real merits will not spread against you.
An artist does not portray his art in order to appease someone, so as not to cause an adverse reaction, but by the way of the feelings that dominate him, that is, as it is most enjoyable to not lose the beauty of his own impressions of his works.
Do you see yourself compelled to reduce the impact and meaningful forces of your creative demarches under the primordial impulse to be a causal agent, to experience the will of those who set the framework for a major change in mentality?
The meaningful forces of your creative demarches, based on certain probing of the area of representativeness, can represent those mutual relations between the signals of the type "support" received by others. No wonder the effect installed after the beginning of the stage of applying knowledge, comprised of the processes of stimulus-response, has as an option that of checking the exuberant state of mind of confidence and positivity that plays an important role in the freedom of creative thinking.
Leadership, directed towards the representation of authentic models of thinking, meets during the course of evolution that form of manifestation of a good mood that allows for a leap outside the value fed by the individual accumulation of knowledge.
The individual, enchanted by this unexpected series of inspiration induced in a pleasant ambient, through a creative stimulation accentuated through a different carrier of values, can act towards a growing trend of return value, uninhibited by the change of experience.
Freedom of creative thinking is the innate organic substance of temperament that guides based on the dictum “I organize, I win”.
The exemplary echo of support actions of others is reflected on your TRUE value if you manage to understand your attitude towards what you practice, gaining more clarity on what you want to achieve.
Or it is reflected upon you in the FALSE value if you give up on the experience of a magical journey that opens before you towards a different type of "music", which doesn’t fit into conventional patterns, whose finality must be your own reinvention.
To reduce impact forces and significance of your creative approaches under the primary impulse to experience the will of those who set a major change of mentality is to generate the idea that separates action from feeling.
And the idea that separates action from feeling, complemented by a harmonious and eloquent plastic expressiveness, is remarked by the artist’s disposition to react contrary to the impressions and conceptions of others. The idea in art is not to be original or different, but to be reconciled with yourself and with what you do.
The Director’s Amusement is the result of a synergy directed towards an essentialization of a style of thinking, of a state or of a situation, which can awaken the joy of being more effective in professional activity. Even if that means giving up what you think people want you to be.
