The Leadership Of Santa Claus
Allow other people to focus as fast as possible on you, in order to accomplish your goals as easily as possible.
The craftsman had sold all his toys and was returning home. At the city limit, he stopped to look at a window. He knew that there lived a poor family and wondered what toys had the children in that house received.
Three kids were dreaming out loud:
- If we had a lead soldier, only one, it would be enough for us…
- We would play together and we would never argue for it. The old man knew that he didn’t have any other toys, but he would have liked to give them at least on. But what a miracle ! There was a lead soldier, he didn’t know how, on the bottom of his bag. And thus, the three poor brother’s dream became true.
On his way home, the old man thought to himself: ”I would like to make so many toys, so that I can give one to every child in the world, especially to poor children, who don’t have someone to buy anything for them”. And walking like that and thinking, he saw in the snow a wounded deer. The old man tied it’s wound with whatever he had at hand and helped it get up.
What you want to receive from life is the natural consequence of what happens to you when you are willing to do a deed that molds to your values from the very beginning.
Then, the fragile creature talked to him with a clear, childlike voice:
- Now I see you have a good heart. Your wish will come true.
All of o sudden, a magic sleigh appeared, carried by some wonderful reindeers. He was taken into a snowy land where a little house, with lighted windows was waiting for him. A multitude of elves, just like in the stories, greeted him happily.
The elves were industrious and crafty, ready to get to work. Materials were abundant, because, nobody knew how, but it always multiplied and never ran out. And the old and witty craftsman lead the elves and together they made toys, always in larger numbers and more beautiful – for every child in the world, the toy they wanted.
The Christmas Evening is the night when the children’s dreams come true. The next day, in the Christmas morning, around the Christmas tree, their joy is endless. None of us was forgotten. And just like the holiday is known, the kids called him Santa Claus it remained as such until today. *
Can the tendency to create a “legend” of your own leadership patterns meet certain needs or expectations of people, especially if their demands on the effectiveness of your practices will always increase?
Just like the story of Santa Claus is always catchy, situating in that key-segment that almost all businesses still study and seriously promote – by using a campaign for raising awareness regarding the importance of your leadership, you will vertiginously improve your ability to relate to other people. The tendency to create a “legend” from your own leadership patterns can fulfill certain needs or expectations among people, especially that their expectations regarding the effectiveness of the practices you apply will always grow.
The correct, profound and ample understanding of your leadership is the key that opens the gate to people’s appreciation. But first of all, you must level the ground that suits you best in order to win people over on your side, you must fit in that area by which you can totally control your area of influence. You can fundamentally mark the quality of your impact only if people will be aware of the values that your leadership rests upon and if they would give any undeniable importance to it – just like the coming of Santa Claus is mandatory in order for the children to be thrilled.
Allow other people to connect to you as soon as possible, in order to accomplish your goals as easily as possible. But in order to connect to you, they must consider the importance of your leadership. Ask yourself: what is the pattern of leadership that can meet certain needs or expectations of people? Can your leadership be a “Everyone gets a gift” pattern, or a “believe in something more than miracles” pattern?
Does the meaning you give to your expectations depend on how you want your image to look in a context of increasing commitments to what you can control when you know your level of self-motivation?
The leadership you practice will always represent the subject of pragmatic, spiritual research, but also a relevant criteria for the evaluation of your impact – just like Santa Claus’ benevolence is evaluated by children by the gifts he brings them. Of course, it is not enough to wish for the development of a myth in a certain direction, in order for your leadership to be accomplished as easily as possible, especially if the respective evolution would contradict the reality. But the major impact that an awareness raising campaign would have on the results is decisive for your success.
You can create a legend by which your leadership can receive a special significance, loved by everyone? Can you impose by it a feeling of holiday which can generate an atmosphere full of joy?
Such a practice is exactly the opposite of the dominant way of thinking in leadership, but it just might be the needed strategy in order to rise to a higher level, based on the necessary difference. I encourage you to at least consider this option.
Is your leadership unanimously accepted? Our dear Santa Claus, the old man with white long hair and beard, with red clothes and a bag full of gifts is a unanimously accepted leader, never contested, even though he has a rule: what goes around, comes around. He is a leader, he has no competition, everybody accepts him just the way he is. From his origins up to this day, he was and is waited for with joy by people from all over the Earth. One must ask, why is he so persistent in time and accepted by the entire world? Almost all countries adopted him as such or equivalents.
What is the meaning of your leadership? Does it mean prosperity and authority? Do you gradually increase your means of influence, fully profiting from the acceptance of people to enter their souls? Do you keep up with their needs and expectations? Are you an unanimously accepted leader?
Leadership is the meaning you give to a good deed done with the intention of self-assessing your qualities in a different form of focus in the present moment, when everything around you is so firmly anchored in a new worldview.
Spirit or faith? Nobody revolts against the decisions of Santa Claus, nobody denies him, nobody strikes because of him, nobody asks for his replacement – even though he is not as giving with all people, bringing consistent gifts only to rich people and cheaper ones to the poor; or he won’t bring anything material, but only hope for the suffering.
Why does Santa Claus makes the most of us better, more analytical with ourselves and the most of us he helps to find better ways towards prosperity in the following year?
Spirit or faith, the leadership of Santa Claus can be a model for everybody.
