The Role Of Leadership In A Representation Of Personality

Try to understand your own self and the direction you want to follow in your development, without overshadowing the model of vision you represent.

In his study “Le maitre-probleme de l'Esthetique”, the French esthetician Victor Basch highlights the importance of contemplation as a starting point for aesthetic research. One of the arguments he makes is a methodical argument: “It is extremely difficult to penetrate the artist’s soul, the deep (and even mysterious for him) source from which the creative instinct springs. The second argument is that the artist himself, before creating, contemplated, and delighted one’s self.”

Therefore, what is leadership? I would say that leadership is the expression of that creative instinct that flows into the continuity of a vision with ideational support. Without art, we could not talk about leadership, because art is the measure of testing the vision that becomes more real than reality.

Or the idea of relating to those around you can be seen as a competition with yourself, not with them. No one can gain a high level of influence if he does not establish lasting relationships with those around him. But first of all, you have to understand your own self and the direction you want to follow in your development, and not somehow overshadow the model of vision you represent.

Your personality must be defined as that of a man of great character, made for brilliant and memorable roles. So you need to be able to mobilize people using all your skills, using all the resources of your mind and soul. If your attempt to compose a role that does not suit you fails, then immediately offer to give up the role and hand it over to someone else.

It is therefore worth emphasizing the importance of self-assessment, including the degree of compliance with one’s own standards, as well as the importance of success in handling for the benefit of the masses.

Leadership: Does the specificity of your self become significant and very subtle by the way you relate to a reality that harmonizes and protects your personality, or that inhibits and diminishes its value?

The source of perfection springs from the self of the leader nurtured by education, moral and professional standards, his skills developed over time, but also the ability to suggest and influence the masses in order to obtain results beneficial to all. Making a “pact with the devil” denotes a moral instability, a shaky construction of character, a serious deviation from the notions of justice and legality. All this will destabilize the whole life of a man who cannot find mitigating circumstances either in obtaining material benefits or in apparent social ascension.

The sweet source of perfection is meant to set the stage for an almost uninterrupted evolution of the leader who follows a leadership model based on ethics, honesty and responsibility.

If by the actions you take, if by the decisions you make you lose the trust of those who follow you, then the relationship can be permanently damaged, in the blink of an eye. Thus, any of your tendencies toward perfection will be annihilated. Leadership expert John Maxwell was right when he said: “To get to a higher level, a lot of things have to be done, but sometimes it takes one wrong thing for a person to go on a downslope.”

I believe that one of the causes that hinders the qualitative progress of leadership, which hinders the leader’s audacity to express high ideals, diminishing his desire to strive for perfection, is his conformity to the preferences of that category of individuals who do not want or cannot show solidarity and indulge in a state of inertia. These kinds of individuals, even worse, try to corrupt you, manipulate you, persuade you to align with their own beliefs, interests and values. If you want to climb the ladder to performance, then strive to combat any harmful factors, arguments, thoughts, actions that run counter to your goals and the ethical principles on which your opinions or ideas are based – which, incidentally, you represent.

Leadership: Can you change the outcome of the impact you have on other people’s lives through a self-effort to manifest itself as a long-term individual performance effect?

However, a leader must be an initiated man, with a certain training in understanding and appreciating life, and with an indisputable sense of justice and outstanding moral qualities. This is not to say that you have to create your own style that addresses a small circle of initiates. But you need to focus your efforts on improving your leadership skills more towards those who are more likely to maintain your mood and interest. They must have the same beliefs as you. And for this, it is necessary to channel your efforts in order to combine your charisma with your dynamic personality in order to be able to win them on your side and especially to express your ideas in a way that everyone can understand.

Are you perceived as a long-term partner? Many leaders are showing a growing concern for achieving results, putting less value on the human side. They seek to simply push people in the desired direction, forcing them directly or indirectly to align with their own beliefs and values. But they do not understand that in order to change people you have to intervene in their behavior, in their thinking and especially in the process of forming their feelings. People feel who you are, and if they do not perceive you as a person capable of expressing genuine feelings of care and compassion, as a long-term partner, but as a master, then a spiritual connection will never be created between you and them.

Your personal and professional accomplishments are the result of the impact you have on other people’s lives. Just as failures are the best teachers and are real springboards to great successes, so too can the people around you be the best teachers, real springboards to great successes if you let them contribute to the formation of your personality and to developing your leadership skills.

Leadership: Do you show that you have the presence of mind in the decisions you make under the pressure of an advantageous self-image, but which has no real coverage in the area of action of other people?

A leader who does not base his efforts and initiatives on his power to empathize with other people will never be able to maintain his position – he is like a racing driver in the competition of a lifetime, whose car runs out of fuel. Once you have built relationships with people and moved to a higher level of performance, never give up or neglect those relationships.

As a leader, you must embark on a journey of satisfaction: the journey to your true worth. Look at yourself with your own soul, then shape your potential according to your own beliefs, criteria, and ideas. Seek to be as you see yourself. Give voice to reality through what you are, what you think, what you feel and what you want. Have you convinced yourself yet that everything is based on leadership?

Perfection is hard to achieve, but its source lies in the people and the leader, in the principles generated by leadership, in respecting the ethics and legality unanimously accepted by society at a given time.

Can you make decisions even if others disagree with you? Do you fight until the end for a just cause? How do you make yourself visible to others, do you have a presence of mind? Can you make decisions despite uncertainties and pressures? Do you base your efforts and initiatives on your ability to empathize with others? Do you think that the people around you can be your teachers at certain times? What have you learned from them so far?

Leadership seeks to form a self-image that conforms to reality, but one which emphasizes the true value of the vision from which the instinct of the individual’s effort to change people’s perception of reality proceeds.

The Role Of Leadership In A Representation Of Personality is to build bridges to new horizons of self-knowledge, from which develop the skills necessary for better adaptation to situations in professional life.
