The Spiritual Elevation Minute
Make a thorough introspection of your Ego before changing the Ego of others.
A man aged 36, shot twice, is critical in the ambulance. His name’s Alan Riply. Next to him, the paramedic, keeping his calm, tries to stop the bleeding by pressing the pad on the open neck wound. But nothing more. He can’t show his sensibility, or any kind of inner struggle. He’s just doing his job.
Plasticity and expressivity are attributed only to a nervous, agitated being, touched by the laser beam of the sublime that urges to a fight, impregnated with the shining ray of true love that can enter in an apparently impossible space. Her name is Ella Brice. And within this woman, with a delicate sensibility, with a very piercing voice, for the first time, there are reaction forces unleashed in favor of her beloved.
Everything that moves her and keeps her still, the passion, the greatness, the determination, the affection, particular forces that don’t cancel each other, but are always in the noble service of the everlasting, are once again combined, once again owe it to themselves to contribute. And when like a Pandora, it closes the lid on the box in which all the evils and hardships of the world are gathered, all hope grows, develops in itself, giving it an unsuspected strength in order to save a dying soul.
Can you adopt that understanding of reality capable of synthesizing a pathway of life transposed into a "Forever Mine" and a temporal axis of the world around which the unification between material and spiritual is achieved?
Exploring an intensity field in one of its points is done with the help of a force that acts directly and continuously. The essential and fundamental life-generating substance lies within the man himself, in his most secret intimacy. His Ego can be stimulated only by maximizing the forces that give birth to an excessive exaltation feeling, by overlapping the two spaces – past and present, white and black, chiaroscuro.
Determined as a miner, Ella intends to extract the precious ore hidden in Alan. Tensing all her soul muscles, until an emotional heat waters her eyes, she talks openly. Once again her voice dares to express the necessary emotions for the fusion reaction with the subsistence area that still holds him conscious and alive. Her soothing and comforting words spill all their contents, the joy in her heart accompanies this invisible harmony of spiritual union:
"Alan, it’s Ella ! Come on, help me ! Please, Alan ! Come on, remember ! Look at me. Do you remember Key Biscane? Come on, try ! The hotel was on the beach. It was spring. The sun shone every day. You were working at a hotel. You were 23. I was on holiday with my husband. He was older than me. We were married for only eight months. He was into politics... I followed you everywhere. I had never done that before. I had never felt that before..."
And exactly in this hour of remembering, it starts operating, the big resurrection begins. In a coma, Alan hears only vague voices, without knowing whose are they. But the appearance of these past flashes unleash in himself a true pressure, the strongest stimuli that – amazingly – bring him back to life.
Unification between material and spiritual is accomplished under the conditions of a story that never ends, but which can equally well integrate into the space of a permanent state of great inner intensity unfolded under the tremors of a memory that marks you for life.
The subtle spiritual fluid stubbornly lingers in him and starts to push through, to radiate from his inner space. Slowly, his eyes open, igniting that licker of happiness that eternity can never tear apart:
"I was working on the beach. The season had just begun. It was my second year at the hotel. I was taking some classes. Javier was my friend... I saw you going to the ocean. You were wearing a white bathing suit. Jimmy Ruffin was singing at the radio. You asked for a glass of water... I realized that nothing will ever be the same. I realized my life had changed. I realized it will be something important. I realized you will always be mine..." *
Do you dare to express the necessary emotions for triggering some positive stimuli? Do you neglect that essential and fundamental life-generating substance within yourself? Which are the forces than can trigger the vivid spark of your Ego? What part of your Ego do others identify with? Can you extract like a miner the ore hidden within them?
In order to have full access to the resources of leadership, you must first of all follow the tendencies of your existence; you have to know how to assort the nuances of your own interior design. This design comes into shape, develops and adapts through the experience lived in the interaction with other people. He focuses on the bundle of stimuli that come between you and somebody else – rendered by that sensibility, that struggle which provokes you, and most times throws you into battle.
Thus, everything that powers you, and keeps you "in trends", passion, greatness, affection, particular forces that don’t cancel each other, but are always in the noble service of the everlasting, are combined and bring their contribution to your transformation. Leadership itself is a special form of communication, of interaction, not just at a company level, but especially at an individual level – through its contents, through the intangible values it holds.
Can you become the catalyst of positive transformation by extending the visibility of your feelings to the interaction area in the sense that you give to life in a context of uncertainty?
You reach a high leadership point only after you are completely dedicated to a truly inspiring moment, only when you are taken over by that powerful feeling of harmony, of unity, which brings light and finds an appropriate resonance in the spiritual background of others.
Leadership depends on the raw materials, the used catalyst and the purpose of the process of interaction with others. The purpose has to be in agreement with "the inner budget" – the entirety of feelings and emotions you generate among those around you, and those that you feel when you relate to them. Ideas, knowledge, thoughts and imagination are the raw materials that ensure a beneficial environment for development.
And the transformation catalyst used to evolve as self, as personality, thought and human being, it comes from the life experience itself, from involvement, but mostly from the positive state that you transmit to others. Awakening in them that powerful, refreshing reaction that has the strength to pull them out of the "shock" they’re in.
This permanent "injection" of positivity has to be manifested in any life situation.
Are you ready to judge the quality of your meaning in a life-and-death situation through a "Think Back" that allows you to perceive another world view?
Romanian philosopher, Constantin Noica, uttered something that I consider valid for every leader of today and tomorrow: "Who doesn’t feel everything harsh, cruel in its spirit, doesn’t live at their level. Great people aren’t kind – here’s the truth. I’m not saying they’re evil, because I’d be diminishing them just as much. But they are not kind. Because they’re not for others. They’re for the spirit within them."
Being truly a great man is almost a condition of life, an own need to give others from your vital fluid. The life itself that you live (for others, for something inspiring) is an inexhaustible ore from which precious metal is extracted from the basis of leadership – the Ego, your true evolutionary force, proving its vitality in relation with exterior reality.
The Ego, this commander of its own feelings, it pushes you to fight, being the only one that can help you enter this apparently impossible space, your only ally that unleashes all the reaction forces in favor of someone or something.
Of course, with the obligation to respect a condition that defines you and that you have to firmly impose upon yourself, but that is sometimes hard to fulfill – and that I consider superior: never stray from what you are and feel. Make a detailed introspection of your Ego before changing the Ego of others.
Don’t forget that you can stimulate your Ego only by maximizing the forces born from an excess feeling, from exhilaration, by estranging the two spaces – past and present. Sometimes, only through a think back are you able to produce "chemical reactions", friendly and beneficial for those around you.
The image of the world that you can perceive through a "Think Back", referring to the remembrance of some dear moments, is the expression of the tendency to adapt as quickly as possible to everything that brings a new life experience centered on getting a sense of "spiritual union" with a loved one.
The Spiritual Elevation Minute indicates that special liveliness that you must possess when you enter the scene of life, at a critical moment, the only way to communicate with someone beyond the separations owed to life’s injustice.
Do you alienate from your Ego when you have to truly relate to others, or do you follow it at any moment? Do you life the condition of self-overcoming that motivates you and can develop your trust and the others’ in your own strength?
