Follow the relationship between people and try to discover the key element that directs them negatively, for your leadership to deal with unwanted experiences.

In a dark corner of the bar, two figures can be seen, similar through the experience acquired over time and through their pretentious nature itself: Gavin Finch and Laura Quinn. Gavin suspects that Laura is the man behind the robbery, while Laura is convinced that Finch has no clear evidence against her.

If we follow the thread of conversation and try to unravel the key element that dominates the two, lured by the temptation to experience a new human dimension, we feel that thrill which seems to yell out of every cell, issuing a certain type of waves of high intensity and vibration, depending on the specific of each and every one’s personality.

Unpredictable, Finch lives as if only for what is unlimited, far beyond the interior measure of feelings. Only by conducting a thorough investigation, sometimes carried to the absurd, uplifts his professionalism, only thus the singular guarantee of its evolution towards excellence can maintain its validity. This is his supreme happiness, to meet whole-heartedly his inner harmony, patching up his forever open wound of vanity, felt only in moments of weakness of the suspects, with the bandage of mystification and misleading.

Sitting face to face with the suspect, all alone, without witnesses or listeners, Finch sharpens even harder his control mechanisms, pushes further his police forces, dominating by suspense and tension, by voluntarily inducing distress, by investigating the past in the most terrible and oppressive ways possible. He does not give up until the suspect does not raise the white flag of surrender; he only finds peace when his ticket to freedom loses its validity.

Can you put in a favorable light what you feel at the level of self-awareness, from the perspective of the freedom to display your superiority through the presence of privileges and exaggerations of the type “the experience of possessing of a dose of tension is everything”?

To see the suspects full of creeps, struggling in remorse to get to smooth water, seeking answers, trying to evade by lying, disturbing their calmness, avoiding criminal liability, that and only that emphasizes Finch’s sense of safety, ensuring complete success.

This state of inner contentment, almost diabolical, pushed to paroxysm, is like a boardroom where meetings, held alternately, focus on the need to fight for social exclusion. It’s some kind of battle for an unprecedented conquest of supremacy on the human scene. Plots are weaved, evidences are manufactured, the whole functional human structure changes, information that may lead to his tiredness and exposing are sought, turning everything into an unusual drama.

Just as old Peyrade from Balzac’s work closes the chimney and uses a stove whose pipe exits through the wall outside, above the street, Mr. Finch covers every hole from the suspect’s heart, using here and there every means of persuasion possible, which onerously get beyond the normal pattern. He basically supplements the human’s emotional baggage with a consistent negative charge, altering its entire control structure.

But this well-rounded suspect, Laura Quinn, this overstraining resistant computer, equipped with additional protection from excessive voltages, does not give up without a fight. Sly as a fox, she hits back bluntly. But with tact, intelligence and delicacy, hiding all her feelings, fears and hatred under the cloak of innocence.

During interrogation, the alternating voltage, which passes both through positive and negative values, is converted into one that has values of a single polarity. Laura does not have to go so far as to beg Finch’s forgiveness and implore mercy, but make him fall with his hands stretched at her feet.

Even under the huge outbreak of unrest, under that grimness of clenched fists, when all the unknowns within her burn and burst out like nebulae, Laura fiercely keeps her calmness.

Do you live only for what is unlimited, beyond the inner measure of feelings, in terms of “the cause that ensures your professional development corresponds to a standing in a position of authority”?

What does completely satisfy your inner harmony? What is the factor that accentuates your sense of safety, ensuring you total success in leadership? Do you dominate people only by suspense and tension? Do you fill every gap in people’s hearts serving here and there by every means of persuasion possible?

In the ensemble of his representation, the man with his features and manifestations bound against a cause that intensely strains his psyche and emotions, or against an excessive strain of assuming certain responsibilities, exploits some depths effects specific to leadership, which blocks the achievement of the desired level of performance. Cascade effects, direct, indirect and cumulative effects transmit progressively over your own existence.

In such cases, not at all exceptional, but quite common, the man feels overwhelmed by unmanageable responsibilities. Retreating into his own ambiguous and incomplete world, his leadership falls in the area where he needs to lay out his defense shield, which can guarantee his efficiency, the effect being noticeable especially when he is unable to analyze himself against entitled claims that he has from himself. He comes to supplement his spiritual baggage with a substantial negative charge, which alters his whole control structure.

Positive human traits flourish especially around the elementary functional equation, such as: stimuli + values + conscious placing in an environment of fairness, but in the vicinity of a meddling leadership, which aims to demonstrate the causes which restrain his development or lower his efficiency level. To that effect it is true what the expert in training programs John Euhrman said, that some people oscillate and struggle between different variables, torturing themselves with questions like "What if?"

If you go to this dangerous point, where you ask yourself all sorts of questions, calculate all kinds of scenarios and dramatize, decreasing your chances of seeing a bright future, it means that you already are in front of "the barrier where you expect the train to pass".

The harmony between mental and emotional, as well as on the exterior – the harmony in relationships begins to "station", can no longer go through the usual route of transition to wholeness. This is the state you experience in moments of tension, when you are forced to raise the white flag of surrender.

The best leaders discover their true Self only in the tense moments of high impact events, beyond the limits imposed by the very nature of the situations that their presence generates in a different course of life.

Just as Laura Quinn, every leader goes during his life through such extremely tense, overwhelming, unexpectedly stressful, even humiliating moments, when all his functional structure changes, turning him into a defendant, who like any offender before completion of a process, must first check his conscience and be careful not to have a black spot on it.

Only such a key moment can bring out the negative and the vice inside man. An ordinator significance threshold that makes the material the man is built of to be covered and corrected, subject to a processing operation through training at a certain pressure, then testing it regardless of previous corrections until all negative aspects are neutralized.

The expert on leadership John Maxwell said at one point: "One of the most valuable things I’ve done in my life was to take important decisions before moments of crisis. This allowed me to manage these decisions in critical moments of my life."

However, I believe that the best leaders discover their true self only in the tense moments of life, beyond the limits imposed by their very nature, by the inner reactions that soften their mood, but clear their mind and test their conscience.

Under the huge outbreak of unrest, under that grimness of clenched fists, when all the unknowns inside you burn and chain like nebulae, can you jealously keep your nerves calm? What does your voice of conscience cry? Does it send you a message, to warn you about your feeling of guilt? How serious is this feeling? Does it cause you a fear so strong that you are tempted to give up easily?

The course of a leader’s life is given by his faculty to discern, to distinguish things from one another, to judge clearly, with penetration, leaving himself in the will of a world that, even if it goes crazy, is required to be addressed by appealing to the emotions that determine his actions.

The Struggle Of Tenacious Souls highlights the relationship established between people, the tense moments they confront and how they react to various internal or external factors.

If you want your leadership to deal with unwanted experiences, try to discover the primary element that directs people negatively.
