Serghei Eisenstein’s second project, a film about Moscow is, judging by the kept sketches and notes, an epic about the city’s development. This project is the first reflection over the concerns inhibited by their failure, from the unfinished film "Que viva Mexico ! ". Actually, this theme will return many times, concerning other projects, until the end of his life. The compositional ideas of the Mexican film remain an obsession in the creative activity of the director, always reborn in other shapes, but unfortunately without ever reaching realization.

In terms of epic, it was a film project about the history of Moscow and of a Moscow proletarian. His face changes from epoch to epoch, he had to pass through the film as a descendant of every generation, but also as a unique character, who opens up the framework of his personal biography, that of his family, of a generation and of class beyond its limits.

Compositionally, the director was supposed to represent a new aspect, originally of the wondering Jew, of the figure of one who, with his steps through space and time, often won over our imagination and fantasy. But this project too is rejected by Sumiatki, and Eisenstein will resume it only after 12 years, in 1946. With regard to the ambitious projects of this genius, most remained in the draft stage, and nothing more. *

Leadership: Do you encounter a well-organized resistance from a compromising version of your own individuality, in correspondence with the persistence of an obsession in the creative activity that dominates the size of your role?

To interact with your real identity, consciously imposing your model of thinking in the structure of what you want to achieve, with the firm will with which you intend to conquer a superior science, is equivalent to treating the symptoms of a disease, without removing its causes. Because the man who is seconded by his work of creation in the process of expanding his intellectual capacities will always have to confront a mysterious enemy, a well-organized resistance from a compromising version of his own identity which is inconsistent with performance standards.

This enemy is the lack of coherence in the activity of creation, the inability to process and capitalize on those innovative elements that support the field you represent. It is in fact an interruption of the continuity of the process of turning the studied matter into a source of personal and professional fulfillment.

If you want to translate your directorial aspirations into a character’s vision, first learn to play a big role: to unfold the frame of your personal biography beyond its limits, that is, try to highlight your obsession for presenting a supreme reality in which the distinction between possible, virtual and real works. But, thus, the version of your own reality becomes compromising for the truthfulness of your way of seeing the world, of your way of being, thinking and acting through the gears of otherness.

Oftentimes, good ideals are wasted as memories of a childhood long gone. What remains in their stead is much too rocky, much too shallow, or much too poor to support the production of new models of leadership.

Transforming the continuity of scientific material in a discontinuation of thinking’s function of communication in terms of professional achievements has the consequence of entering a waiting area that makes the transition to a poor recognition of your creative and adaptive potential.

Leadership: Are you determined to follow your obsession with the performance of artistic creation given by the result of the association between “similarity” and “contrast”, in order to achieve a precise purpose in outlining a unique identity?

The development versions of the leader, oscillating between glory and solitude, between honors and poverty, between vanity and inconstancy, drift away more and more from what he is capable of realizing. This in case the compositional ideas of his creation don’t always get reborn into other forms, in order to obtain a precise finality or a new product of improving performance.

Compositionally, leadership can represent new aspects of integrating personal experience, in the context of renewal and launch trends of a creation that can achieve a perfect harmony between the necessary and the qualitative, between science and practice, between a traditionalist thinking and a modern one. This can be expressed through a comparison in question: "Does a bottle you cast in to the water stay still or does it drift to other areas?"

What you believe through the very fact of knowledge doesn’t necessarily have a fixed weight that raises the value of leadership. But if research work stagnates, then you cannot surpass yourself and therefore you drift away more and more from what you could become.

As for the result of the artistic creation of a director, one would say that sometimes it is the result of the association between “resemblance” and “contrast”, because what it highlights is a revelation of the truth of his life seen from the perspective of a character with whom he normally could not cohabitate. Can you imagine Francis Ford Coppola producing a Romanian film titled “Mihai Viteazu”? Or can you imagine Sergei Eisenstein producing an epic American space-opera like "Star Wars”?

What you manage to achieve by adopting a constructive thinking and through perseverance, can have an amplifying effect on awareness of self-worth and uniqueness. Or it can have a dimming of vision effect found in full development and redirect it towards a small area of reception, if it doesn’t materialize into something palpable. In a well thought out construction of the type "Change Request" that facilitates the solid chaining of all those innovative elements that raise the value of leadership.

The shaping of a unique identity, as a significant factor for the impact of artistic creation, must provide “a reminder” of the steps through space and time passed with ease by a character on the way from reality to ideal, and from ideal to concrete.

The Unfinished Projects Of The Art Creator aim at the permanent search of improving self-potential for creation, which aren’t capitalized upon though. An obsession in the creative activity can always be reborn in other forms, but if it doesn’t reach materialization it means you’ve reached that point of capping in which leadership cannot reinvent itself.

Through a creative and constructive thinking, you can reach those performances with the help of which a work that is sustainable over time can be achieved. What you have begun could suffer from temporary interruptions, but it can always be continued and enhanced in another form. And only this continuation after reaching a critical point, only this exercise of will taken to obstinacy, can turn you into a winner.
