Being a notorious criminal means being a very cold-blooded psychologist, but in such a way that his coolness comes out only through the significance given to the events in which his personality is reflected. The limits of functional structure, whereby the explosion of motivation and inspiration occurs, in a mixture of passion and pride, are directed towards maximum values. These limits of acceptability between which Hannibal Lecter oscillates, lives, struggles, thinks and decides, never reach the critical threshold. But they do not drop either towards medium or normal values.
Even exiled from society, this ruthless man, this inexhaustible brain, the active center of all intellectual processes of analysis and discernment, remains a hard rock fragment propelled in an atmosphere of safety, a la dolce vita, because it remains untouched in his depths. If we study carefully Hannibal Lecter through a giant magnifying glass, we can see that this high voltage human generator acts both in intensity and extension.
Just as the insulating layer of the human body shell reduces heat loss and increases body resistance, so this man’s internal regulator, which ensures functioning without jams, reduces the time lost assembling the pieces of a puzzle that do not have a chance to blend perfectly. His dominant power feeds and is exerted through science and a thorough thinking, applicable only under conditions imposed by him. And these conditions create great confusion for others.
Investigating the arguments underlying cause-effect reasoning, placing them in a sustained crescendo, Hannibal strengthens his own capital of resources necessary to create new perspectives and new opportunities to explore his most powerful talent. Namely, the talent to maintain himself, to accompany himself, totally abandoning himself to his power of self-suggestion in the ivory tower of self-knowledge. Only by raising questions vis-à-vis of what he really is, he will be able to keep up with his own self-image.

A car, no matter how beautifully designed, if it does not have the technical features that make it superior to others as useful object, its aesthetic form will matter very little. An oversized ego is a man’s instinct to feed on the abundance of the weaknesses of others. Leadership is dominated by the principle of singularity and harmony, not by that of generality, expanding or narrowing down depending on the psycho-professional level of human, which ensures survival in the "vacuum" during arid and dark phases of life. And this is what converts leadership into a "product" of necessity.
The sum of the events of one’s own life, as the denominator of a thought of the type “I am who I am”, is seen as an extension of the oversized mind with a unique reflection on life: “The satiated glutton is starving nonetheless”, as Dimitrie Cantemir rightly observes. The power that defines such an individual is best exemplified by a quote from Lord Byron: “Any virtue is merely a matter of price.”
How long can you remain untouched in your depths, so that your ability, this talent of feeling “Superior”, does not manifest itself in a way that you would like to deny?
While analyzing your true status, either of defeated or winner, the contrasts of the world you conceive have no excuse. In any situation, the position you adopt and the courage to constantly support it, constituting the true reflection of what you really are, need to be translated into a consistent motivational approach, one profoundly transformative and progressive.
An irresistible occupation helps you better project your own existential film, but it is not enough to show a certain loyalty to yourself. And a new approach to space development can be however praiseworthy, but if it doesn’t work in the same way with your superior necessities, vital in rebuilding those qualitative aspects of functionality, loses all meaning.
To remain untouched in your depths means to keep the monopoly on your entire character even in solitude, even in harsh circumstances. Any moral contradictions, whose sole objective is to warn you, can temporarily slow down your reactions and your insight. Therefore, only if you get to the point where you start to identify with your character, with your own self, with your own pattern of thought, with your own creation, you will be able to find yourself again in the irresistible embrace of what you really are.

To recognize your superiority at any cost means to increase your self-worth without listening to your conscience, and to deny your superiority means to abuse your mind in an inappropriate way.
