It had to be given a fight. And, I was following to take part in it with a sort of perpetual uncertainty that made me facing myself. A feverish longing, growing, towards a depth changing of the personal perception of reality, which led to a transformation of consciousness, enveloped me like in a pseudo-spiritual cloak.
A kind of confusion, a tentative of the spirit, the insinuating repetition of a sophisticated idea that was following me for some time, though hidden by a corner, ready to jump in front of me and push me towards an uncertain and unknown truth. I was still not ready to fit it, and to insert it in the circuit of my values.
A fight, but at the same time a twinning of the two hypostases of the same individual, an obsession that developed gradually, depending on the collision, overturning, changing of the two poles of its existence.
Is your desire to get out of the state of uncertainty of your individuality expressed by trying to make a bridge between essence and creation?
The fight for the true Ego. I and my silent opponent, unseen, uncaring and insusceptible. Two attitudes mutual acting into a continuous pulsating tension. The coherence of a well-designed and rigorously-selected intrigues. Two routes that intersected decisively and directly, exerting on me, when in a direct form, when subtle, a pressure more or less obvious, as being subject to a competitive process. A rivalry between the two camps, between two psychological constants, between two personality types: like between the legendary Robin Hood - the defender, and his opponent, the Sheriff of Nottingham - the usurper. One of them should be certainly eliminated.
Something in me burst at that time, it throbbed like a protest without having the possibility to hide it. Even so, it remained so many that had to be censored. I went out again in the night. I just watched the window of the wall after which I was hiding.
Inevitably, the past returned between me and the continuity of my present, in search of the future. Just like a man, who avoids himself for not feeding with illusions that can numb all his expectations, I had no mood to play hide-and-seek. However, I was not going to break away from the huge spider web that caught everything of my consciousness, of my experiences, in its sticky threads.
Does self-correcting through meaningful experiences mean creating a new perception of yourself, one that reflects the balance between essence and creation?
The essence that was upsetting me was a tumult of conflicting emotions that seemed to leave behind only a chaotic mess of impressions of what they really were. The creation that elevated me above the self was due to the way in which I expressed my feelings and experiences, the changes taking place inside of me, so that in the end, the frightening search of their own limits and vanities disappeared, and the reaction became an experience from which I would end up rich – both in its own right and metaphorically.
I was on automatic pilot, without being attentive to the road, in search of an unknown future that could lead to an agreement between the two sides of me conflicting with each other, an agreement that would help me recover myself, playing with myself the role of a justiciary deciding between "essence" and "creation".
I woke up in front of my best friend, of the best alternative. I became aware of the great distance that separated us. I went out behind the wall after I which I was hiding myself. And I saw the light.
Do you play the role of a vigilante who decides between the two types of compromise: a complete disregard of essence that represents you or a brake of creation that enriches you?
Leadership is the result of the years spent in a leading environment. But, at the same time, is also an engine of self-knowledge, a result of the acquisition of another type of personality through the attempt to reinvent yourself, to become congruent with yourself.
Two routes are justifiable in your life that may separate yourself from who you really are. And which you, as any other leader, have to directly cross them: the distance from essence to creation, and conversely. Two constants that are ordered in regular oppositions that condition and mutually reinforce each other, contributing to your formation, exercising on your own way of being, when in a direct form, when subtle, a certain pressure, an influence, which is felt directly into the circuit of your own values and that can decide your future.
Do you start looking for an unknown future that can generate an agreement between the two conflicting parts of yourself? Does it involve the aspiration to exceed the limits of your condition as a "Man" subject to his own nature? Or, you find yourself always in the position to develop your leadership skills, without verifying and assuming your true identity?
Success in leadership depends on that part of the personality that is in direct contact with the reality governed by the power of "creation" than of the revelations of the "essence".
The victorious trajectory of the human being may be interpreted as a process of self-becoming, of personal development, to which you must obey. A perfection of your own personality. It designates the foundation of the change, full of satisfaction and success, both for you as a "Man" not only as a "Leader".
The art of self-discovery and understanding your mission in the world, assumes to understand that opposition between what is profound and what is not, between what you are and what you want to be. It means to conquer the rivalry between the two sides, between the two psychological constants, and between the two personality types: realistic-unrealistic, defender-usurper that can ruin your decisional capacity in the key moments of life.
That is why, the responsibility and lucidity of your prospective attempts, involves not only redefining your own identity, but also the awareness of what awaits you as an unwanted response of how you perceive and manifest yourself.
Knowing this undesirable "reply" but possible, as expresses - also for leadership, for example – the beliefs and meaning of the planned actions, forcing you, on the one hand, to be more attentive, in order to avoid a duplication of personality, and on the other hand, to determination in finding that part of you that regards you from the inside, while you are playing your role in shaping social reality.
Would you be willing to treat with leniency or disregard those parts of yourself that define you, as mere unimportant oddities? How fair you are with yourself?
The victorious trajectory of the human being also represents the result of the years of searches, questions with or without answer, of the "internal" fightings for defining your own Ego and your own potential.
Search in the past and within your being, correlate the results of the analysis between them with the present, and thus, the way for future success is prefigured, especially if you are fair with yourself, tenacious, rigorous, if you do not break connections with the outside, and with the reality that surrounds you, also if you select those elements that favors you.
