He would have liked to borrow a new life, of a one younger than him, un homme d'action, in order to strain one more time the bow of the really combative force that throws its arrows towards the most difficult objectives, always targeting towards the middle of the problems, always in the direction of inaccessibility, piercing the fog of the old age.
He would have liked to find a solid support, continuator, into overcoming all obstacles and difficulties of all kinds that stand against the progress of his actions. A kind of search of another identity. A release of the inside, through a will of supreme liberation, which would flow, as a cold and heavy rain on all forms of regression. Of a will that should never be wasted. A decrease of uncertainties, which enveloped his perspectives, soaring vertiginously on his evolution as a leader, as an authority of the law, as a man of great character.
Similar to a Christian who assumes the suffering of the whole world through the perspective of his own experience, transformed by a living and dynamic faith that gives meaning to life, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell was heading rapidly towards the decline of his existence. Towards a realm that preceded the hardest test of his destiny, which dominated with gravity the mystery that surrounded within a heavy and sinister chain the origin of his spiritual states.

Thus, again, like a man alone and lost, disowned by society, without finding order and stability in a land tough with the people, but especially with the elders, Ed Tom Bell let himself be dragged out in his peregrinations in search of a foreigner, of an assassin. He felt the ground slipping under his feet.
He made his way to the west, always to the west, there where was always done a crime, every time another old man. Towards the great fortress of his mission, realizing that he could not break into that vortex of the search. A very vivid friendship attached him to the old people, because he was also old.
Ed Tom Bell was sinking down into the abyss of a cold reality, of an increasingly burdensome old age. He understood that the end was near, that everybody – everybody, except the young and the triumphant ones - had to transform themselves, to leave the earth, and go elsewhere. And, as a man, who perishes frozen in the desert night, he turned his thoughts towards the eternal lands. A return to the origins, to a past stuck in his time, to a world forgotten and unknown, to a distant area of the human essence. In search of a quieter place.

The first half of the leadership, the human one, is decisive. The leaders, who can relate well to the other people around them, are trying to avoid the leadership’s clichés of perception.
First, they seek to discover and understand the man as a whole, without despising or minimizing the science of fully dedicating themselves to his emptiness - that road towards the peak of the human existence that passes only through the hell of an atrophied thinking, subject to certain limitations, and which restricts the freedom to be himself, redirecting his beliefs, and options, in which he tends to believe.
The leadership that you extract not only from your trials and errors, but rather from the "most hidden shelf" of the man as a whole, in which is located his deepest essence, is the real treasure that you must exploit it properly.
Your deepest essence is built from the overwhelming reality you live in by consolidating the distinction between expressing a default identity and the alteration of everything that overwhelms the individual.
Just as the essence of time is the flow, not the stagnation, so the essence of the relationship man-time renewal is given not only by the formation and development of a positive thinking, by perspective, but primarily by the values that you appreciate the most, by the beliefs that life has implanted in your mind.
In other words, instead of the most commonly used procedure of confirming as many expectations regarding the possibility of change, amplification, diversifying the form of exercising influence, in the creation of a leadership as facile as possible, it is more helpful to follow a better exploitation of the tendency of optimizing the relationship leadership-man-values-time.

The other half, followed by the top people, the professional one, seeks to complement the existence of a systematic research towards the future of the leadership, through appealing to an "arbitration" easily confusing, extremely weak, unfavorable to the essential statute of the man. A severe contraction between appearance and essence that must be attenuate.
The first step towards a new self-discovery is given by the "return to origins", to an almost forgotten area, to the essence of what you expect to find where hope takes refuge.
Are you living in a system of thinking that ignores or disregards the reality of others? Are you aiming towards the "inaccessibility"? Are you heading towards a peak preceding the hardest attempt of your role, as a leader? Do you accept to start looking for a plot of understanding the Man, a land that is foreign to leadership?

This can be done only by submitting yourself to this internal analysis, and always asking yourself:
From where you started and where you want to get? What would you wish, what have you achieved until now? What else you have to accomplish?
