As soon as she woke up, Cosette made haste to the slipper. Within it she had found a gold coin. She was blinded. She didn’t know what a gold coin was as she had never seen anything like it before. She quickly hid it in her pocket as if she were stealing it. At the same time, she felt that it belonged to her, she guessed from where her gift had come, but the joy she felt was full of fear. She was pleased. But mostly amazed. These things, so wonderful and beautiful, seems unreal to her. Even the doll she had received as a gift, everything seemed as if they’d fallen from the sky. She trembled before such greatness.

Only the stranger didn’t make her tremble. On the contrary, it gave her courage. From the day before, through all the moments of wonder, through sleep, her childish mind thought of that man that seemed old, poor and oh, so very sad, and that was, nevertheless, so rich and kind. Since she met him in the woods, everything seemed changed.

Cosette, less happy than even the smallest of the birds in the sky, never know what it meant to be protected in the shadow of a mother and under a wing. For five years, i.e. since she could remember, the poor girl trembled and shivered. She was always completely naked under the harsh wind of pain. Now she felt as if she were clothed. Other times she felt as if her soul was cold. Now she was warm. It was as if she no longer feared even Mrs. Thenardier, who would always beat her. For now, she was not alone anymore. She had someone by her side.*

Its value is set between the causes of blurred states of consciousness, with very few clear areas, by digging up the past that stands between you and the present. And exploring your personality through building an ideal identity and of the way in which this identity is perceived not only by supporters, but especially by the Ego conditioned by the existential model in which you feel comfortable in.

Can you look beyond the boundary of a self that has to fight for his preeminent power to self-regulate, without rising above the worries of the world?

In all areas affecting the future, leaders must sensibly approach that science that specifically studies the shadowed parts of the human being, of which it seeks to rid itself of by finding a powerful support from the outside. These shadowy parts involve poverty, sadness and unhappiness, and they can attain the greatness of the character of a person if they intervene in developments undertaken under their aegis.

Leadership entails an understanding of the essence of man, only as the leader, as an initiator of a creation which can hardly be clearly outlined by the domination of the inferior over the superior, holds the perspective of a significant win of attachment of an Ego dominated by doubt and weakness. You become the hero in the story of a poor man when you manage to rewrite the most important chapters of his life.

The leader is always pushed by consciousness to rise above the worries of the surrounding world by capitalizing on moral actions that result in his intention to accept the challenge of change. He is aware that often the high sentiments of a human being are highlighted precisely by the poverty, the sadness and the unhappiness they bear in the place of all wrongdoing.

As the sap rises from the roots to the last leaf on the tree, so too do the unfavorable factors that condition your perception of life tend to redefine what it means to be a prisoner or a guardian of an identity that never makes the leap towards a self-destiny, in full compliance with the beautiful and the sublime.
