Water Means Blood

While the Emir of Kharesm prays on his knees in the besieged city, the prisoners around him, who were ordered to repair the defensive wall, shout desperately: "Water ! Water ! We don’t have water with which to mix the mortar ! What do we do?" Then, the Emir gives an order to his troops: "Mix the mortar with their blood". And continues his prayer while his order is executed.
The same wave of cruelty floods this film as well. Death dominates early on and, same as in the Mexican film, the triumph of life will end it. "Twice – on the idea: water means blood – the specter of water passes with its destructive force, bringing about death, bloodshed and victory over man. And the third time, it appears in the authentic sense of that idea of water as lifeblood…"
The fabrics of Eisenstein’s films are all made from the same fiber, the same themes intertwine, come back and develop obsessively in each of his works. *
Can you set up a picture of reality that abounds in the intensity of experiences from the action of a colorful story by triggering a higher spirit attitude towards a single target: “It must be as I want it to be ! ”?
The first action of imposing a personal idea in a creative montage, resulting from the living depths of a generous artistic vision, can be justified through the fact that is always fits in the standard of reference of those who understand the importance of a memorable experience through the substance and consistency of the message it bears. The image of the reality the director refers to is always directed towards a single target: “let it be as I want”, because he insists on showing his power of creation to everything that is before the deeds.
Also, the montage sends us to that "It must be as I want it to be ! ", respectively to the action possessing of an update of reality, used to intertwine an old theme with a new world, or a reality transformed into fiction. Something that is not lost by viewing it, but rather stays for a long time in man’s mind through the impact triggered by a powerful explosion – an effect of the variable called "credible argument."
Leadership is a promoter of the credible argument, triggering a certain excitement among people as a means of representing a new perspective of knowledge of the world through the lens of an affective, intellectual and artistic reaction.
In other words, before you give life to a script idea, you have to start by finding a reason to explain everything, from what you see to what is not seen, to analyze the things that make up the objective reality by their very nature. The scenario is a story full of color that cannot receive anyone if first of all it is not believed, or if its very essence is not revealed.
Can you increase the intensity of the experiences resulting from a story considered as a way of expressing conceptions, feelings about the world and life in an artistic form?
The credible argument, within the framework of a unitary, coherent painting, where reality can breathe even in the steam of fiction, strengthens the link with that something that makes you feel, something that is beyond your imagination and expectations, thus, something that can materialize in an inner change – as if you have personally lived a unique experience. Here we are not only referring to the facts recorded on film, but to the motives and symbolism behind the facts that serve as the transposition of feelings into a form of creation.
Finding a way of expressing conceptions, feelings about the world and life in an artistic form is actually to become aware of the relationship between what you are experiencing directly and what you are experiencing through a human experience transformed by the jury of events, in view of the film theory which states that “an arrangement of images is characterized by the existence of a single fund”.
Who looks on the internet, for example, at the image of a tourist destination that repeats itself on numerous websites, will manage to stop from the endless search for a possible better option only if it offers the guarantee of a memorable experience.
But let us not forget this way, what the Heath brothers said in their book "Ideas with guaranteed impact": "If we try to convince a skeptical audience to believe in the veracity of a new message, the reality is that we will lead a difficult battle against social knowledge and relationships that the individual has formed throughout an entire lifetime."
A director has to give the screenplay and the film a personal touch reconstituting the action of a story based on the images presented and make use of these images to impose his own interpretation of the events in his life.
Water Means Blood actually expresses an image of reality, rendered in color, but one that sparks a powerful emotion. The best directors know how to create a real story, offering the opportunity of "going deeper" into its core, even using fantastical images.
