A true artist assumes the uniqueness marked by exploring a living corner of nature, but with the seal that providence places on a symbolic image.

A singular excellence in my life that helps me in the art of portrait and landscape, derives from an internationally recognized identifier “Double Delight”, the species of a medium-sized hybrid rose, which emanates unusual purity and beauty, its predominant colors consisting in a bright yellow like pollen, woven in a red crown that seems to mark the meeting point of Sunset and Sunrise.

When I try to render my story in oil, I imagine that I am called to respond to the challenge of immortalizing, at the same time, the eternity of nature and the ephemerality of man, which are only apparently in opposition.

Behold, the paintings filled my workshop, but without too much pomposity. Each touch of the rose constituting the family of colors, faces, complementary forms of expression, of closeness or distance to a less debated subject, a rainbow above the horizon of dreams: the feeling of a lost image in the depths of the soul.

Thus, my life gets the impression of an extended confession that a true artist tries to articulate with the progressive elaboration of a vision about creative force, as a kind of proof of sincerity towards the chosen ideal, of beauty, of honesty with the sciences of nature and of the exigency towards the idea of particular, associated with the notion of portrait.

Can you attribute to your creation the role of facilitator of the representation of perfection, by continuously promoting a consensual approach based on unity, cohesion and solidarity towards certain forms of human expression?

The rose is a solid foundation of admiration of my life, being part of the image of an overall consistency of the idea of passion, a conscious choice and acceptance of someone else within the scope of the artwork.

I listen to everything you tell me, just me. Every day I learn something new from you. I look at you with respect, with godliness, with nostalgia, with astonishment, as if I were looking at a being detached from a range of sensations, a being with many hidden qualities (melancholy, gentleness, but also vanity), subjected to subtle forms of expression (such as charisma, attraction, magnetism, simplicity, ambition), constituting a masterpiece of brilliant creation by effect, but harmonious by significance.

Have you ever wondered how to look at yourself for a day? You would understand why you have now stopped in your tracks. Because the ascension in art means not just knowing how to paint an ideal of beauty, capturing it in a dream-like hypostasis, with the liveliest of colors. But rather it means to observe through the eyes of another eternal glorification of a creative act in representation of divine perfection, founded by zealous faith.

The resemblance between me and this purity-filled being is the rose’s way of expressing, in the profound sense of a sacred image, the figurative elegance of an idea of the type: “the beginning of a new world.”

Does the theme of your creation possess a narrative thread and an identity that is discovered as the sources of spirit and naturalness of the experience of high finesse in the interpretation of a dual reality are assimilated?

The focus on the gaze cast in the middle of the reality obtained through consensual approaches, based on unity, cohesion and solidarity, is the way in which Alexandre Dumas expresses in the “Mysterious Doctor” the closeness of his characters:

“The permanent relationship in which lived Jacques and Eve created (and as days passed growing ever stronger) a unique and boundless sympathy. They were, obviously, under the total power of that universal law that scientists attribute to the world, and poets – to individuals; which the former call attraction and the latter love.”

When you try to illustrate the existence of another reality it sometimes happens that you get lost in the clouds, false images, illusions which you slowly try to reach. The rose hides the artist’s enthusiasm to learn more about his image in the mirror, or about his inspiration depicted in a hypostasis of a disturbing nature, through an exercise in spirit, through the vibration of a so-called twinning of thoughts: “I know what you hide in your soul, I know what you feel, I know what is bad”.

I think that all that leads me to a new source of understanding of the “Tresanti Mobile” in the sphere of the work of art, through the meditation of spirituality which is symbolized only by an experience of kindness and purity, is precisely the impregnation of an idea about the spiritual tranquility with another meaning about Logos and increate energies. Two beings of similarity through the care and respect they have for one another, hence the term “emanazione del mondo sensible” are easily recognizable in the spiritual aspect of a creation in which predominates the color red, and that invisible energy that we perceive and flows through the environment.

The theme of my creation is the guarantor that authorizes the passage from argument to conclusion, because everything that I highlight has as a spiritual purpose an exhortation to cultivation, knowledge, discovery, perspective viewing, artistic experience.

Anchors of power and spirituality are felt in the vibration of a world meant to inspire, a world in which the rose, possessing in it the artist’s spirit as a unique associate of existence, creates another (more complex) identity that distances itself from the past, thus forgetting its natural need to remain a mystery of nature: “You would like to believe that you have not lost everything you had.”

Can your artistic vision provide a representation of how you feel fulfilled under the wand of a particular sensibility, through a kind of allegory that helps you overcome the visual concrete and capture the quintessence of completing the imperfect work of nature?

I tried to understand you, I tried to believe. To believe that everything that makes me better, more subtle in the art of portrait and landscape, because art forces me to recognize my dose of “unconditional love” and balance in myself, is better rendered as a form of expression of a an unlimited universe in a kind of proximity to a Spirito Puro, eager for sun and heat, whose identity becomes almost perceptible if I do not pay the proper attention and care.

Therefore, the world in which I turn with the effect of infinity, with the thought of an experience of great refinement, with the brush, with the first streams of love, with the admiration of the unknown and exotic beauty, with openness to the spirit of nature, is celebrated and cultivated only by an artist who instantly magnetizes any look in the being and in deed, any evidence of appreciation, any reverence, any alert movement, thus respecting the conditions of the debit of a power in a small space, easy to control.

A spirit that becomes a being, with a need to recognize its predisposition to immortalize the concrete in the artistic plane, has a colossal impact on the understanding of life that two similar entities (acting in an emotional sense) experience through a kind of allegory of the human adventure between Creation and the Creator: “If Jacques had become a kind of god for Eve, he had done it only to complete in her the imperfect work of nature.”

In concluding this article, I will not only assume the role of artist, but also the uniqueness marked by exploring a living corner of nature, with the seal that providence places on a symbolic image. The rose, with its bright daylight, ends its monologue with a thank you addressed to the heavens, with the appreciation that a beautiful being, as natural and full of purity as Eva de Chazelay, carries to the explorer of her sensitive world:

“There are no more pleasurable moments in spiritual life and physical life than when, after total despair, you begin to hope a little and when, after the storm and thunder, the sky clears and the colors of azure resume. The return of the sun completes the physical effect. I love you, Jacques Merey !

And so, the door of the cottage closed behind the happiest beings in the world.

The artistic side of the painter must be distinguished by means of a symbolic image, as a form of framing nature in a spiritual plane, with reference to the help of Providence who knows how to lead the “event” towards the fulfillment of a great destiny, because the Creator’s purpose is always in favor of its Creation.

Where Are You marks the beginning of the search for a support point in the realization of the Great Work, which begins with a touch of refinement perfectly integrated in the middle of nature’s decoration and ends with the title of a spiritual destiny without similarity: “Two souls destined to be together that find themselves again.”
