Everything Depends on Who Leads

You Cannot See With Ignorant Eyes

True artists follow their own visions without the constraint of limiting external evaluations.

I was talking the other day with a university professor about Artificial Intelligence, the discussion painted as if a landscape of the mind frozen in outdated dogmas. His words, coming from a narrow wing of understanding, were like splatters of paint crushed on a canvas closed in bygone times, lost in an attempt to express what could no longer be understood. Unskilled in the art of reading the signs of the times, ignorant in the face of technological changes, he did not see how Artificial Intelligence, like an avant-garde current, is redefining the landscape of the world.

In the face of the technological revolution, this teacher accepts his reduced role, as an "artist without an easel", stating with a slightly naive serenity that he does not mind if students do their homework with the help of models such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, as long as they properly presents the completed works. The words of this man anchored in sunsets, echoing like awkward echoes of times that have exhausted their vivid colors. After all, understandings enmeshed in outdated patterns become like splashes of dark color, darkening the canvas of reality with the shadow of the past.

Do you manage to self-assess your talent, avoiding external confirmations and limiting censorship, along the lines of a vision like: "I am in control of my evolution stemming from the tireless exploration of my own potential"?

Looking on with eyes blinded by prejudice, the teacher seriously imagined that he could still stand at the top of the hierarchy, evaluating someone without really contributing to his formation, without helping to shape the thinking of others. After all, if he gets his monthly salary, that's all that matters.

But, like an old portrait caught in a frame, he is not aware that his role has become purely decorative, a kind of "Eryaalka Nasrante", a remnant of the past in a world that is constantly being remodeled, um candidato formidavel na corrida pelo poder e pelo dinheiro no caos de um mundo sem marcos.

The materialistic character of the teacher, devoid of the glow of genuine passion, made him not understand that he had become useless, a surplus of the system, a cheap kitsch of a temporal princely fashion. I say this because today's youth, like modern artists, seek knowledge from their own sources of inspiration. They push the vision of the beginning of an artistic movement, a transformation from gray tones to vibrant colors through the "futuristic gradient" technique, refusing to be dictated to the final grades, because they do not want to depend on anyone.

The talented person knows how to self-evaluate, he does not need external confirmations. In fact, the lucid self-assessment of talent frees the creator from all the strings of censorship and limiting brakes. In my opinion, the only assessment that matters is the one you make yourself based on a vision of, "What impact and meaning do I bring to the world through my contribution?"

Can you reveal your perspective on the formation process, in an exposition of freedom and authenticity, anchored in the appreciation of the internal value of knowledge?

Artificial intelligence has shown that the teacher has an elusive role, like a charcoal drawing on a white sheet, because it can be easily erased and replaced. For his part, the university professor demonstrated, through the lack of any activity on the Internet, having no blog, no book, nothing to share online, that he is like a museum without exhibits, an empty gallery in which the echo of his own words echoes dryly. Moreover, the political status to which more and more teachers are affiliated is the same, a frame without a canvas, and they are just artists without works, empty presences masked in the garb of "all-knowing authority".

While the world refreshes itself daily with millions of new pages on the Internet, like a huge digital museum, these teachers are silent like statues in an abandoned temple. While others create, discover and invent like avant-garde painters, teachers remain a stagnant water, an arid land where nothing new sprouts.

All too often, university professors also have a political affiliation, the connection between politics and the university illustrating two areas where crimes are painted with the brush of corruption. There, under the apparent mask of "knowledge", the real motivations are hidden: juicy contracts, questionable purchases, huge amounts of protocol, rigged auctions, embolic investments, vacations abroad with Erasmus, insured food, files and relationships, money laundering, all the kind of measures and provisions that bring colossal advantages. So a whole Eden for "false apostles", as the Scripture called them.

Is lucid self-assessment of your talent a testament to inner strength in an educational environment dominated by external pressures that try to define success in narrow terms?

The high school education system, but especially the university, has turned in the last 30 years into a money-making machine, everything has to be paid for with hard money, from meditations to final exams. You want to promote, then you have to take money out of your pocket, one way or another, just like in the case of forgers of works of art, who pretend to be artists, and succeed in deceiving the public. Above all, college has become a landscape of moral decay, an environment where the art of learning has been abandoned in favor of profit making, a gallery where student money is the only artwork displayed on the altar of commercial education.

Remember old Santiago, the experienced but unlucky fisherman. He hadn't caught a fish in 84 days. All the other fishermen had already moved further out to sea, but Santiago was convinced that the sea would eventually reward him. One day he caught a huge marlin, the biggest fish he had ever seen. The fight with the giant fish lasted three days and three nights, but Santiago finally managed to kill it. He was exhausted but happy, confident that he would be able to sell the marlin for a good price and regain his fortune.

Unfortunately, on the way back home, the sharks smelled blood and attacked the marlin, devouring a large portion of it. When Santiago arrived at the port, all that was left was the skeleton of the fish. The old man was devastated. All his toil and sacrifice had been in vain.

It's the same with university professors: they smell blood when students are desperate to pass exams or get degrees, devouring their financial resources in the process of exploitation. And every time blood begins to flow, they do so to cause even more blood to feed their insatiable need for profit. Really, students are devastated by so many taxes and financial pressures.

Education is the most profitable business nowadays, and precisely for this reason, pupils and students have begun to massively direct their study efforts towards Artificial Intelligence. There is no need for external evaluators, incapable and limited!

The authentic spirit rejects the dogmas and judgments imposed by external authorities, finding its validation in its own source of internal resources.

You cannot see with ignorant eyes if you stubbornly do not understand, because understanding comes from the personal contribution brought to the area of research, just as art springs from the palette of the easel on which the artist expresses his vision. Young visionaries are forced to look for other ways of enlightenment, finding nothing but darkness in the education system degraded by financial greed.

According to this consideration, I believe that the internal value of knowledge can be appreciated through the continuous exploration of reality that illuminates you in the dark, through the practical application of knowledge in real situations, but also through the ability to develop your own vision and perspective on the world.
