Art For Art

Respect your duties to your leadership by carefully assessing how people perceive you from the point of view of a creation that you have not yet finished.
The master was in his room of creation, where the sunrays could penetrate unhindered. He was trying to render in his new picture, three characters from Shakespeare's work "King Lear" : the Count of Kent, the Count of Gloucester and his illegitimate son Edmund, seeming to carry a relaxed discussion in the throne room, in King Lear’s palace. The viewer could gather a brief idea of the complexity of the level of interpretation of the reality derived from the experience of the sublime by using powerful contrasts between light and dark, used as a support for symbolic thought in a universal way.
His style of painting characterized by intense colors and a bold touch, large and spontaneous, was similar to that of Paul Gauguin. The intense images he created, impressive through their explosive clarity, through the finesse of the details, although they seemed exaggerated into an original way in order to delight more the eyes and to impress, they evoked real or legendary episodes and characters, which he easily adapted to the present. They avoided the sense of melodrama, and keeping their credibility and relevance, they received the character of some fascinating visual representations.
Leadership: Is the essence of what reveals your work to fulfill its assessment function by providing a benefit gained from a fragility that generates a certain distance to view?
Observing with how much attention and devotion, with how much ability and elegance he performs his moves, I told him, pushed by a boundless inner will:
- I admire you very much, and I must say that you are formidable, truly superior. Only the great painters proved such confidence in maneuvers, such quickness in moves, such a fluidity in the way you handle the brush. I do not think that someone might not like the pictures you realize.
The master, deeply wondering of my words, looked at me with an attention that showed, undoubtedly a lot of good will, and told me with determination:
- Any painter knows that the hardest thing is to be what others want you to be. Even if you like the way I paint, others may not like. Just as some admire more fanciful and surrealistic paintings, in Salvador Dali's style, others admire realistic paintings in the style of Edward Hopper and George Grosz. Some of them might like much more the paintings inspired by historical subjects, while others the ones based on literary subjects. Some prefer dark colors, other the bright and shiny colors. Some prefer the light, others the shadows; some prefer the pure and bright shades, others the faded and dreary ones. A painter cannot ever please everyone, therefore, I assure you, Nicu that there are many people who do not love and will never love my paintings.
A performance gained from a fragility that generates a certain distance from view can be derived from the phrase: "The hardest thing is to be what others want." Therefore, a brief summary of the plurality of meanings proposed by the artist and by distinguishing meanings relevant to life, becomes necessary because we are another step closer to a wider perspective on the Wow effect it has on others.
Leadership: Does your style of creating new rules of personal image representation and modeling, by analogy with the interpretation of feelings experienced at a certain point in life, generate an astonishing attitude to immediate reality?
In leadership, you have to know where the talented people hide their treasures. Within the best relationships with them, you have to focus on what you have to learn from them. Learn, practice and assimilate. Amazement in art comes from the legendary version of a treasure discovered on a territory difficult to penetrate, from which the observer can only extract the meaning of an idealistic familiarity.
Just as color it is the one that solves the problem of proportion and of the representation in the achievement of a general unit of audible and visual factors in a movie - so the binding that unites the talented people with the excellence in their field of activity, contributing positively to maximizing their value, is the analogy with the interpretation of certain feelings at a particular moment of life used as an argument to set the quality of the personal image to a certain value through their creation.
For your leadership to be profitable, you must find by the means of open discussions what it is that secret factor that provides progress to these people. The natural and necessary conclusion must come only after an objective knowing and an objective exposure of their ideas, opinions, thoughts or theories. It must be proportionate to the results of knowledge and their achievements – when they were convinced that all their actions denoted real concerns of increasing their value.
What is the binding that unites the talented people around your excellence? Do you understand their manner of operation?
Respect your responsibilities towards your leadership, evaluating the way you perceive people. On the way you perceive their motivations, on the way they transmit their inspiration, on the way they demonstrate their qualities, on the way they express their vision, on the way they evaluate their activity, and on the way they treat their talent - depends how you will exploit your own potential, by following their example.
Leadership: Can you build a picture that will delight your eyes through the succession of contrasts between what defines you as a portion of objectively accessible reality and what makes you stand out when you create without thinking about validation from others?
What has a leader to learn from a painter, if not to be himself? A leader cannot change depending on the wishes of every people, he cannot be fully mold to the needs of people and their personality, he will never be able to match up to all people’s expectations, he will never be able to please everyone.
People have different preferences and expectations. Just as some people admire only certain painters and prefer just a certain style of painting, not to say that others are not interested at all in art and design, in the same way, some people prefer a certain type of leader and a certain style of leadership.
Some people prefer less demanding leaders, who can allow them total freedom, and who never criticize them of anything; other people prefer little more drastic leaders that will penalize those who do not fully devote themselves to their team and profession. Moreover, there is another category, of the oscillating ones, which beat the extremes (who actually can only put difficulties in the way) and who impede, voluntary or involuntary, the decisions and the measures taken by the leader.
Be yourself. Make up a leadership style which would characterize you, try to be as good as possible, but do not expect to receive only attention and praise.
What makes you valuable in the eyes of others is the work you create without thinking about aesthetic validation from others.
Art For Art occurs when you restore creative-image compatibility settings (which everyone expects) to the initial commitment to increasing personal satisfaction.
Leadership can be a real art, but for this you must have talent and special abilities in working with people. The art of leadership is not something tangible, but it is "measured" by your results. Nowadays, the leadership, in order to become an art, needs people with a higher education and training and, especially, with an adequate behavior.
