Establish the "area" of influence to which it is measured your value, by integrating into your leadership those rules that you must consistently follow.

He wanted to achieve a higher level in the company and was fired.

The employee of an electricity company, was selected in a research program from where he obtained a capital of 10.000 Euro for the acquisition of some special equipment. Everything was good, but he did not consult with the manager about the types of equipment, because some of them needed auxiliary installation components, some didn't have the necessary capacity. And especially this employee wanted to be installed preferentially in his sector of activity, despite the necessities from other departments.

He was fired not so much for the incompetence with which he managed a large part of the funds, but rather for the attitude with which he approached the issue of collaboration that could have been devoid of divergencies.

Leadership: Does your personality have a vision of how to avoid an unwanted event in trying to transcend a life experience from a culpable state to one of acceptance?

When you analyze a topographic map in terms of relief, it is necessary first to see, which is the zero equipotential surface to which were measured the altitudes of the points.

When it comes to leadership, and to improve relations with other people, you must analyze those rules that you know that you can respect by yourself in a consistent manner, without deflecting from them. Moreover, for this it is necessary to determine which is the "area" of influence to which it is measured your value.

This area if it is not affected by any negative experience, by any false or disappointing indicators, can provide an adherence to your team, and can contribute significantly to your success and of your company. Otherwise, all your approaches will fail primarily because of the lack of credibility.

The „altitude" of your credibility is given by how consequent you are in compliance with the rules and principles laid down by the company. Another criterion of credibility is the vision of ways in which an unwanted event can be avoided in trying to transcend a life experience from a culpable state to one of acceptance.

How far are you willing to go with the costs of an action that does not accept the right to reply, except with some trace culpability? Do you represent some doubtful qualities?

Leadership: Does your personality extension provide a superior viewing experience that helps maximize your reference value delivered as a whole, with less wide angles than you would have wanted?

How do you entertain your area of influence? How do you win the trust of your colleagues and bosses? Are you disciplined in relation to them? Is it beneficial your presence in the company? What is the glue that binds you to them? Are you predictable? Can they count on you? Are you threatening to "abandon" by taking those decisions that contradict with the policies of the company/institution in which you work?

Managers are always looking for quality people who love their job, who work efficiently and who can bring significant benefits to their company. What kind of manager doesn't want employees who can think and act towards the desired development of the company, who are confident in their ability to take a decision and capable to take the initiative when it's case? Yes, that is right. All the managers are looking for multifunctional employees, serious and devoted to their company.

Nevertheless, being a professional and conscientious employee is not enough. You have to be a model for the other work colleagues, to inspire them to action in a constructive direction and to determine them to be efficient and productive in the work they do. You have to know what buttons to push in order to change the things that surround you so that they turn in the favorable direction for the company, but without exaggerating too much.

Your reference value can be delivered as a whole and can only be maximized by a changed image of yourself through an influence that prevents the emergence of negative attitudes and the imposition of strong values.

Leadership: Have you attributed yourself an attribute that represents you in a defining way, without taking into account that plus/minus error that the distance separating you from your "follower" provides?

Struggling hard to obtain better results so that you are seen and noticed by the manager is a good thing. But there are certain limits imposed in a company that you should never cross, like, for example, when you take a decision without consulting the managers, the compartment chief or with the colleagues. Doing everything after your own way, even if you think that is good for the company, could have the contrary effect you expected. First, you need to take note of the Code of Conduct and of the rules set by the company, and only afterwards to follow your rules - if you know to act correctly.

The fact of being individual, arrogant and stubborn, the lack of collaboration and un-subordination will provoke isolation, marginalizing and even firing those employees.

What from the start seemed to be a big joy turned into a horrible nightmare for the employee I was telling you about at first, who, in order to be noticed and to be above other colleagues took action in the name of the company without consulting the manager. It was a fatal mistake and the directors did very well firing him, because who makes everything after his head, risks leading the company in a wrong direction, maybe to bankruptcy, he is also a bad example for the other employees. In other words, in a company there are certain levels that need to be respected and rules that any employee has to respect.

The "follower" that always catches up to you is the mistake of believing that a certain situation will last forever, or to believe that others believe strongly in you.

Do not make the mistake of believing that getting some good results means you have exceptional qualities. Do not make the mistake of thinking that others will change for you. Do not make the mistake of believing that everything you say and do is a letter of law.

What would happen if all the employees would act as they likes despite all the rules that the company established? Almost sure the chaos appears sooner or later, and the relation between the employees and the managers would have to suffer. As I said before, in a company where does not exist a disciplined communication, an order of things, a hierarchy for employees to follow, the possibility to develop is very low.

In the big companies, but also in small and middle ones, the key to success is collaboration. You certainly met persons who are proud of their relation with their boss, colleagues but especially their clients. It is a kind of interior peace that each person, who is a part from a group, feels and he is respected by all for his credits. And this relation between employees, chiefs and clients is based, in the first place, on collaboration. Collaboration is the secret of success in any domain, in all the activities that we have to do.

Collaborating with your colleagues and especially with your chief is a very important factor and it constitutes the key element in the development of the company. Collaborating means you have to consult with your chiefs and colleagues about the decisions you want to take, not to do everything as you want to. A decision that you think is good and you take it without consulting the others, could be wrong and could put in danger the company.

Leadership is what you produce in an original way from the winnings that stop at you, without making the mistake of thinking that everything you say and do is a letter of law.

The lack of cooperation and especially the lack of communication of certain dates, sometimes essential, can put in danger the existence of the company or the work and the health of others. What would happen if in a laboratory of medical analysis, where certain test are made in different stages and days by different doctors, and they would not communicate with each others on the obtained results in different stages? With certainty, the final result would be far from the reality, the doctor could not give the efficient treatment or the given treatment, after this kind of analysis, would be useless or even risky.

What would happen if in a porcelain factory, an employee who observes that the composition of the porcelain is not right, would not communicate these things to the people who can solve this problem? You guessed. This means that the productivity would come down and the number of trashes would rise, and this would lead to material loss and even the loss of the company's prestige.

When we collaborate we align and we harmonize with a common purpose, our energies are headed to constructive directions. When it comes to a purpose we want to achieve or an idea we want to put it in practice, the best is to consult with our colleagues and chiefs before taking the final decision. This to be sure we do not make a mistake.

The influence you have in a group resembles a dove feather carried by the wind: it has an endless potential for expressivity only when it shows an action that will be completed by a specified time in the future.
