Every time I got home, I reviewed in mind the lesson of painting that the master had given to me in that day, seeking to acquire fully. I had everything ready: the easel and all the accessories that helped me in painting. It was indeed a challenge to replicate what had been "delivered" to me previously few hours earlier. And it was a big concern for me to do something constructive to strengthen my confidence that I can achieve something special and which also will give me an inner satisfaction.
I had to practice so I could prove myself valuable in the front of my master, just as he had proved himself valuable in front of me and others more competent than me. Still, there is a problem that we could not overcome: the interpretation that I gave to the painting was not a proper one and not even highly suggestive. As too often I imitated my master’s paintings: what he did and I tried to do. My perception on the chosen themes, on the colors, space, on painting in general was the same as my master’s. But my creations were confusing, erroneous and distorted. Why? Because, after all, I had a different style of painting, I had a different style of expressing my ideas, a different style of thinking and a new vision.
Whenever I draw or I painted something, my master's words came back to mind: "Nicu, the interpretation is needed in the art, you must distort, but not too much."
Leadership: Can the ignoring the perspective of approaching reality result in stagnation in a vision condemned to remain limited?
A thing remained well embedded in my mind, all that time spent around the master. The one that the art means feeling, emotion, means to recognize people's aspirations and emotions, means to know how to interpret their thoughts before rendering them skilfully on canvas. If the reality I am building does not awaken a unique feeling in the mind and soul of the viewer, then my vision of the world and life will be condemned to remain limited to a limited space of understanding.
Your creation should not allow an exceptional interpretation just to gain accession of others. As a leader you must realize an interpretation to highlight the message you want: we have suffered together, let’s build together, to move forward together. Your leadership must develop your own capacity to create something constructive, an amiable climate of collegiality and loyalty, of ethical behavior, at the same time you must also develop the spiritual dimension of your personality and others.
When you imitate or inhale too much from the others, you distort your reality, you distort the perception of others about their expectations, and thus visible reduces your leadership performance. And when the perception you have on reality and on the leadership is one composed of too many "knitting" - by joining with too many models of leadership, other mindsets, other aspirations and other views, you’re starting to distort from inside and slowly slowly, you risk to get away from the rational.
Your art must allow an interpretation that would give a special meaning, the one of a more profound and comprehensive vision. Your leadership will shine only if you will express it in a more personal manner, freer, wider, more spontaneous, more spirited, more careful, and only if it will start from an interior impulse. The criterion by which your leadership can be counted qualitative or not is given by the extent in that it expresses a new and a personal form your feelings and ideas.
Leadership: Do you recognize misinterpretations of your art so as to remove a vehement criticism from the verbal content of the beautiful, regarding the role of awakening emotions exerted by the representation of a certain idea only through image?
A vision of what is more valuable to the becoming of a being, or a vision of a world that is too little explored, can have access to a consciousness or conviction that will allow you to manipulate the viewers without feeling guilty. But a vision is condemned to remain a limited one when it is not fulfilled, or when it becomes unilateral – so the viewer can be trapped in the creeping influence of unbelievable aspects, excluding the absolute existence of reality, being limited by the line of ever changing interpretations.
The perspective of approaching reality must be part of a larger edifice, a more complex picture, so that what you express can be understood as a cognitive and communicative experience, as a permanent interpenetration of some theories, ideas that fascinate through their constant over time. In art, you have to show something that corresponds to the description that the discovery of ideal beauty gives to perceivable beauty.
To recognize your mistakes in interpreting art means to have the dignity of staring at the naivety you have shown in trying to persuade in giving new meaning to a misconception of a beauty concept misunderstood by the viewer.
The focus of your art should be upon your unique point of view, but also on the point of view of those whom you lead. It is necessary to show in a responsible and informed way what is essential, favorable and advantageous on your art, and to waste with patience and really convincing arguments the confusion or disorientation in case it exists. Do not let the negative beliefs of others to manifest. If you have addressed certain issues in a different way, you must admit the mistakes of interpretation in your art, to remove an arraignment.
An art that is characterized by wrong making of the foundation that is built by adding all that is always superficial in reality, and there is not an art with which to take pride. But it is an art that deeply worries people and that will not be recognized.
Beauty in art must be perceived as something present in everything that can surround us, suggesting the idea of a new form of realism. There is only one form of realism in leadership: the possibility of immediate contact of the soul with the truth of a world made as a call to something perfect.
Conclusion: The leadership, as an art, should be clearly expressed to induce a proper interpretation and not a distorted one. The "style" should be clear to allow an accurate perception. Using multiple loan items, "bedizen" and distort both the message and perception.
